Insanity will rule the world this eve;
Madness, anger, wrath, lunacy, despair.
All are irrational, beyond compare.
To survive in this world, I must deceive

All those around me. Those who are naïve
Will fall into the lies I use to snare
Them. But, one will come and carefully dare
To declare the lies, to help me retrieve

Whatever shred of truth that I possess.
I will see the world in a different light
Free from insanity, free from distress.
I will have the tenacity to fight
The darkness. All because of one who, bless
Him, took my fears, pain, and put it to flight.

It was good, 4/5, in the second stanza on the third line, you have a sentence ending as the first fragment of your line, which should be up on the second line of that stanza, to make it read more smoothly, otherwise, it was good
