When I was little,
I believed in fairy tales.
They said true love
Can't be killed.
But you were different.
I didn't love you...
Until I hated you.
The choices you made
Made me want you.
You were always cute,
But you were cuter
When you were taken.
I thought I liked you before,
But when you chose her,
I vowed not to give up.
Because I'm better than her.
She's prettier,
Maybe smarter,
Maybe skinnier.
But I'm deeper,
And more daring,
And I don't barf it up.
And when she was gone,
I didn't like you the same way.
Sure I felt bad
But maybe I never
Really
Loved you.
And I'll admit:
You never did,
And never will,
Love me anyways.
But all I want
Is the hope
To get me through.
