my life is spiraling downward
as people bring up my past
times I want to forget
but at last i cannot

i sit on the edge
deciding if i shall fall
saying that it would be best
yet saying there is more to live

Tears start to roll down my face
then you came up behind me
and showed me the light
as if you knew me all along

delcining your offer to help me up
Hiding my face in shame
you did not simply give up
pulling me up and on my feet

Glad you came to save me
will you always be there
a simple nod express the truth
living is not so easy

as long as you are there to stay
I might as well move on
to show my thanks
but i will forever be in your debt.
