Why do birds fly?
Do they know why we're falling...
Are they really that smart?
Are they aware of the hungry ones
Are they aware of the dead
Are they aware of the broken
Are they aware of the fallen

It seems that I find myself envious
For the birds have something we all crave
The gift of escaping on air
Never to return???
