Laying wide awake;
I'm much too eager to wait;
It's Christmas!

My little brother screams

We sit next to the tree;
Jumping around with glee;
It's Christmas!
It's Christmas!
My parents laugh a plea

The first round begins;
A little toy sings:
"It's Christmas!
It's Christmas!"
The joy and fun for all.
