Color me green
Color me pink
Color me any
color you can think
Color outside the lines
for all you care
I won't really notice
because I'm not really there
The lines are s h a k e y
and somewhat faded
the eyes are scribbles
and the heart is jaded
Color me green
Color me pink
Color me any
color you can think
At this point now
it doesn't really matter
what color I'm colored
because it'll still make me sadder
the colors won't cover
what's really there
they can never get rid of
my blank empty stare
you can color me with crayons
you can paint me with oils
you can erase the whole damn picture
because it's already soiled.
