• It was the night before winter break,
    And I was so excited.
    The lights suddenly went out,
    And the candles were lighted.
    We were so hungry
    That we didn't know what to make.
    So it turns out that we
    Were going to make potato pancakes!
    After the first day, we lit the first candle.
    My parent knew what they were doing.
    But for me, I just held onto the candle's handle.
    On the first day of winter break,
    We ate fries that were curly.
    We read the paper and it turned out
    That we celebrated Hannukah a day EARLY!
