Reaching out with fingertips,
Searching for an answer I won't find,
Exploding vowels from lips,
And corruption of an innocent mind,
Keyboard is clacking silent,
These batteries are running quite low,
Your face expresses dissent,
I have grown wise enough not to know,
Cue taken from a strangers' face,
Cross the subway booth and ticket line,
A foolish bond we can't replace,
Broke into pieces when we ran out of time,
If you ask me to explain, I'll cry,
For the recklessness we've both seen,
Counseling could be given a try,
But they understand we've been in a dream,
So waltz away the death and be,
As happy as we had ever been before,
At my funeral I know you'll see,
That I have had everything and still more.

Description:
It was fun while it lasted,
It won't ever happen again to me,
But at least I can still die,
Knowing I experience what is love. - Date: 07/03/2009
