Losing it all

To let it be or try so hard to see?
What is it I should do, should I try to be with you?
Take my studies to heart, but let us be apart?
To trust in my friends until this new day ends?

I'll make my choice and then I'll say...

Should I take on two, as I try to find you?
Or should I let go and do as I'm told?
I think I'm starting to lose it, does that mean I should quit?
No.

I'll push as far as I can and when I fall, that's when I'll say...

I tried my hardest even as I lost it all...
But I've no regrets not at all...
Maybe I lost it when I thought you were gone?

I know what I've done is right and I'm glad that that place is now in sight...

Whenever it happened I'm glad it did, because,
I would never have felt this way on any of those days,
Had I not tried so hard.

I may have lost it all, but I saw the beauty of it all.

I found this poem simpler compared to your other poems. I liked it, I really felt the emotion. It's vague enough to be extremely relate-able, but you can also sense the speaker's pain. Very refreshing, flow worked very well. I was just a little confused by this line, "Maybe I lost it when I thought I was gone?" (13). Good job! ^^
