Snowflakes fall around her stiff body, yet she remains still,
She stays there silent and frozen, on a hill , in the winter's bitter chill,
Her body is dappled with tiny flakes, they cover her stone-like face,
She cannot hear, she cannot taste,
She stands there, without speaking a word,
She stands there, expecting not to be heard,
And when the Winter's cold chill ends,
And it becomes warm Spring again,
She stays standing on that hill,
She stands there, completely still
