Don’t betray me magic
Take me to the place
Where I could hold my love again
And see her smiling face.
I was thrown through time and space
Passed lives we could have chased
I saw the history of all
Civilization’s rise and fall
The power tore through everything
Through heavens and through hells
I didn’t know what I had done
By reciting that spell
“This thing that I have started
I will not stop it till,
I have saved my departed.
So take me further still.”
I saw the places where we met
I saw you healthy and alive
The power dragged me onward
I didn’t know where I’d arrive
I saw the universe infinity
Felt my spirit tear from my body
My mind was greatly overwhelmed
As I passed through every plane and realm
“It’s not enough!
She’s not been saved!
There must be world’s
I’ve yet to brave!”
The spell was moving faster
It understood my cry
It couldn’t disobey the master
No matter how it try
I saw the worlds before me break
I did it all just for her sake
But then I heard the people’s screams
Saw the images of shattered dreams
The people of the broken lands
Their blood was stained upon my hands
“I didn’t want this!
Make it right!”
But the power then
Proved my worst fright
I may have been the spells caster
But I no longer was its master
It was showing its true deed
To make the nations cry and bleed
I was merely this will’s tool
For using it I was a fool.
Now witnessing its true intent
I understood why He was sent
I was blinded by my grief
So desperate to find relief
My consciousness began to fade.
As I tried to hide from the mess I’d made
I’d thought all I’d done was for naught
But I held on to one single thought
The only thing I knew was true
“I’ll never stop loving you”
Then I saw that you remained
The images that were not stained
The spell still moved within my cause
Even though it bared its claws
I saw you there in the abyss
The reason why I’d done all this
I closed my eyes
Reached my arms out
Abandoned all feelings of doubt
I turned my will against the beast
And ended that which I’d released

- Now, now. No need to be insulting. Just by reading your comment it's evident to me you didn't start at the beginning. This is part 6. and though it's not wholly necessary it is read from the start. it can help it hold your attention.
