Notions

• Description: Ever have one of those notions that feels as though it must be something when it seems like nothing? I get that a lot so ... I tried to put words to it.

And if you asked me ...
If I had a notion about anything,
Whether anything was nothing or not,
Or if nothing was everything,
When in reality nothing is:
Nothing

Then I'd say,
Something can be everything
Everything can be anything
And you only need know,
Where to look I'd say.
When in fact ...

I don't know anything.

The something eludes me,
And the nothing has built itself up
To be more of a something
Than an anything, anything at all really . . .

I guess what I'm trying to say is ...
I hadn't a notion at all.

Good stuff. Maybe work on the flow a bit, but I like it. I think you'd do great with Spoken Word Poetry. It is a style that seems to fit this. if you'd like to read some exapmles of SW poetry, all my stuff is in the arenas.
