Hourglass
Time remains forever, but how shalt we;
events pass by, as do we at times end,
to each person there hourglass shall rend
leaving their shards of shattered memory
but at death there is a great place we'll be
there we shalt not have to for our selfs fend
neither shalt we have injuries to mend,
there we will not drown in this bloody sea;
Though some are sentenced to a well earned hell;
In which euphoria does not exist,
To a place with pain you cannot resist,
And forever witness that pain you shall;
Off and on, more and less, sin burdens thee,
Oh hourglass you end at last for me...

- It's a rare sight to see an Italian Sonnet like this, so some might have trouble with the strange rhyme scheme, but the poem itself is well done and conveys a powerful message. Five stars for a nice sonnet!
