The sky, so close, yet so far away,
The thing one looks up to every day.
It is the place that is way up above,
The place where birds fly, and sing of their love.
There are no restraints in that sea of blue,
And if angels can live there, why can't we too?
When blue turns to gray, and eventually black,
That is when you run, and never look back,
For evil has awakened inside of that cloud,
making noises so frightening, so scary, so loud.
This darkness is where all demons roam,
With their terrifying faces, teeth gleaming like chrome.
Their eyes, an abyss of hate and disgust,
And the taste of our blood, for which they all lust.
They hiss, they bite, they have hearts black as coal,
and they do have a form, but yet they have no soul.
They corrupt everything, nothing hides for long,
It's all this corruption from which they all spawn.
But something must fight, must resist and rebel,
Something must send them straight back to Hell.
It is the sky, so bright and so clear,
The purity is something which all demons fear.
The light cuts the darkness, swift as a knife,
What once was extinguished has been brought back to life.
The birds are flying and singing once more,
They had all hidden from the horror before.
We don't need to fear, and I'll tell you why,
We have a protector, our beautiful blue sky.
