In the distance I can Hear them,
Chopping and digging,
If I had legs I would run,
The fires singe me and then it happens,
An "X" apon my chest,
I am next,
For centuries I have stood and watched my approaching doom,"MAN".
I am a oak ageless in time yet doomed to be, The next one",
The next tree to fall,
I am looking on as the ax comes to blow,
My leaves fall like tears for I have never cried.

- Title: I Have Never Cried
- Artist: leelee de de
- Description: My poem is about a oak tree that was struck down to make way for a road. The thought made me sad so I wrote this.

- I can totally sense for love for nature... the beauty of a 1000+ years old tree that has seen a lot... that which we humans will never be able to understand such a span of time!
