I look without seeing,
Have sight but I'm blind,
Unsure if I'm viewing,
The world or my mind.
Listen without hearing,
To silent fate's call,
I constantly ask if,
I'm part of it all.
Am I a lead actor,
With some role to play,
Or simply a stage prop,
To just fade away?
I seek all the answers,
But answers denied,
I leave with more questions,
Confusion inside.
For with time's wheel turning,
I feel out of place,
Are my feet here on Earth,
My mind lost in space?
I constantly question,
What's real and what's not,
Is the world around me,
The truth or just thought?
The world moves around me,
But I sit in place,
I want to get moving,
But can't find a pace.
Was I simply meant to,
Find my place in line,
Or jump in the spotlight,
and let myself shine?
For what is my purpose,
For why am I here,
Will I make an impact,
Or just disappear?
Am I meant for greatness,
Or just in my mind,
I look without seeing,
Have sight but I'm blind.

- Title: My place and part
- Artist: Mugentsuki
-
Description:
I have often questioned what is real, fake, or imagined, and once again in the mood to write I decided to write a poem about it. This is, I guess you could say, one of my many outlooks and questions about my place and part in this world.
