Hey you, Hey blues
Hey I won't forget you
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hey blues left on the city street
Hey --- You crawled down to my feet oh
C'mon forget you
C'mon forget to do
All the nasty things
All the nasty stings
And the scratches on my mind
And the scares not to be left behind
I kept my soul when the devil said hello
Hey you don't forget me
Summer of last night, I
Went home to find life behind (me)
you crawled to my feet
You crawled down to my feet
All the nasty things you said
when the devil came to be -- most read
In kept my soul when the devil said hello
And the scratches on my mind,
and the scares are not to left behind
I kept my soul when the devil said hello
All the nasty things
Hey you, don't forget me
Just push me back down
Down into the muddy ground
Just push me back down...
Down to the muddy ground.
Hey you don't forget me
It's kinda a soft rock/alternative blue-ish style I guess you can say.
- Love it. ^-^ I'd love to hear it in an old-style blues format.
