In the plains
Wind comes by
with a whoosh
and a horse passes you
Clippety-clop goes his hooves
as he runs with the wind
Wind seems to be his best friend
Blowing on his mane
Wind whistles a beat with a "whoo"
Lions stomp their feet
Ducks dance with a cheerful "quack"
Whilst the wolves sing with an " Arooooooo!"
The cats purr
The deer clomp
The rabbits tap
The bees buzz
The trees sway with a "creak"
The leaves waltz with a "crunch"
The wind dances with a swirl
The plants tango with a rustle
They crowd around me
Around me, Circling me
As I sit high
And bold in my saddle
I hold the mane
Tight and strong
Happy as ever
Giddy as well
Then animals of all sorts came!
Mooing cows and clomping moose
With trotting deer and excited monkeys
Bears and tigers, leopards too
Join their hands to party and dance
We canter along
With our friends at our heels
We gallop
We canter
We trot
So quickly
We glide gracefully
Some flutter
Yet all heading
To the very same place
Yet there's a faint calling to be heard
And the next thing I know
Everything goes still
As I lie down
Alone again
