Loli had come to the Oracles, wondering what fun thing they were doing, watching as others took their turns. She waited a long time, but she was patient, watching how others were doing with the flowers. When it was her turn, she gently watched and listened to the explanation, then began to look at the flowers. She seemed to have trouble picking flowers but eventually picked five; each was a flower she loved, and she waited to see what each meant. Loli waited as she looked over the five flowers she had brought to the oracle, hoping there was not something bad that was going to happen. She gave the oracle a smile as they began to explain to her what each flower, and the color of the flower, meant.
The first flower that was looked at was a red rose, standing for love, passion, and beauty. The color standing for Passion, courage, deep love, and powerful desires. This made Loli want to blush and look away. She was not looking for a suitor just yet; this told her she would have romance in her future, which made her think that she would have someone who would be there just for her, though her herd was with her, and she knew they would help her with anything she needed. This was supposed to be a special person, someone that she would not stray from, and one day have her own family with, even if she saw her herd as her family.
A carnation that was white, the flower standing for fascination and affection, she smiled, she knew she would, that she loved her herd, and showed them great affection, but she also knew that she was curious and still learning things around her, the color changing her look, she was still smiling, the carnation being white could of also meaning Purity, innocence, sincerity, and new beginnings, she did not stay on this one as she felt that she had found her new beginnings with her friends, and herd, was there more to her story, would she be able to make more friends, help more, learn new things, or was this about her special someone?
Camellia, the flower of Admiration and perfection, the pink color signifying Joy, grace, kindness, and good fortune, this made Loli excited, knowing she would, at least have a good year, seeming to see that she would also have a good fortune, which made her feel better, as she did not want to have bad luck this year, she would hate to see that luck taking her friends away, her herd and even destroying any relationship she could potentially have, she did not want to be alone again, so this was a good thing for her to hear as well, though Loli did not agree with some, she understood why she was getting them.
Loli watched as the chrysanthemum was now in front of them. This flower stood for friendship and honesty, something Loli enjoyed. She loved her friends, her family, but most of all, she loved it when everyone could be honest with each other, not fighting, but simply working together to make everything better. The color was perplexing, as it was red, so she was unsure if this changed anything about her curious little flower, but it was still pretty to her, and she would accept whatever weird fortune it gave her. She smiled once more, hoping that it would give her the strength to keep making friends and stay honest, along with her hope of her friends and her herd staying the same.
The last flower was a daffodil; this flower stood for renewal and fresh starts. This was also the only yellow flower that Loli had in her little bundle. Loli would always hold this flower, especially the yellow ones, which stood for Friendship, happiness, optimism, and light, which made Loli think the future would be bright. This fortune told her that she would hopefully have grand adventures, meet someone new, and would always have her friends and family by her side. She smiled brightly, knowing that there could have been so many possibilities, but this was great luck for her, and she was happy to have nothing bad.
When the Oracle had finished, Loli got up from where she had lain down, pushing the flowers together, pulling another strand of her hair, and using it to tie the flowers together. She would take the flowers with her, seeing as picking flowers that someone else had used would be bad juju in her opinion, she would keep them, holding them in her mouth till she could find a spot for them in her home.
