if you subscribe to my journal or have read my earlier segment of "Why People Should Be Pessimistic" Then you know that I'm just deppresed and you shouldnt take me seriously. This segment centers on the reason I type in my "nonsense code" of 1337.
Earlier I said that everyone should be pessimistic because it just works out.
Why Optimism sucks, and is the worse way to go.
I'll use a story between Carl and Joe.
Carl is optimistic and this is what happens.
Carl: Joe, did you finish your homework.
Joe: I'm sorry, i had other things that seemed more important.
Carl: I'm very dissapointed in you.
Now stop, right there, in that last line. Not only is Carl upset but now he has lessened Joe's sense of purpose and made Joe either angry or deppressed. See what I'm talking about?? Now I can be a very sarcastic person. This sarcasm has landed me in trouble a few times. Oh well, so what. If the other person feels that they are better than me and dont deserve my backlash, well too bad. What happened to "all people are equal" ? There was six-grader on my bus and he said he was better than me because I didnt play sports. NO! I do not play sports. I play the Flute. Yes, me the second tallest guy in 7th (now eight) grade. Go ahead laugh it up. I DONT REALLY CARE! I stopped caring a long time ago.
And do you wanna know why? Optimistic people. They have held me too standards I couldnt achieve and have used their "happy" ways to turn me into a deppressed kid. a very bi-polar kid. I can still have a good time.
I personally am very good at acting. I dont take drama class or anything, but for three years, I have pretended to be happy and optimistic. Not a single person knows except maybe Rammstanime and Averted Eyes. And that is doubtful.
And this is why I use 1337 as a means of communication. So I can hide it.
