so, my in my last post, I mentioned my b/f getting kicked out of his house. well, its been going downhill from there. he's been staying with a friend, who's, to put it nicely, tired of him camping out on the couch. problem is, he doesn't have the money to get his own place (he's 1 cool and he doesn't have any family in town. It hasn't been very bad until today when he got pulled and the officer told him he couldn't drive his truck because it wasn't insured. so, we had some friends come pick us up and we went to our work. so, at work, melissa came in and i was standing at the cut table and she was like, "what's wrong, little woman?" so I spilled everything that's been going on, because I feel compelled to help him and she already knew some of it, since her fiance is kenny's manager and they live together. so, as she's leaving on her next run, she pulls out her phone and is like, "don't worry, little woman" and calls someone. So, when she came back, she came over to the make line and was like "So, me and robert(her fiance) are going to go talk to kenny and ask him if he wants to live with us. He has to live with our rules, which means school first, and he has to graduate, and he'll pay us X amount of money from his check every month for "rent", but we'll save it for him so he can get a place in a few months and have enough saved up for a couple months of rent at one of the apartments over by the college."
so, this is a huge deal, and I'm REALLY hoping he'll take it. I mean, he'll have his own room, and basically, it'll be like living with an older brother or something. Plus, melissa is cool with us being over there, him hanging out, w/e, but they both want kenny to graduate, so they're going to make sure he goes to every class every day and gets hours in at work too. so, now, i'm just waiting for melissa or kenny to call me. sad
