Drei walked outside Rosso's and faced the beach. A gust of wind attacked him and swirled around him violently. It raised the sand and small pebbles, flinging them at Drei with dangerous forces. within several seconds, he was buried in the sands of the beach and slipped into an unconsious stupor. He was floating, again in the Void, but now it was not unconfortable. There was only one source of power crowding him instead of seven, and made it more comforting. He was slowly set down inside a familiar cathedral. It was made from deep hewn rocks in the sides of the highest cliffs of Castellbar. Once, this cathedral drew many a loyal follower to bow low before the king priest. The festivities had died for many years after that massacre. That horrible day.
And in an instant, he was back in that day. The day when blood flowed more freely than water, and the stench of rotting corpses beget flys and maggots galore. That day, Death had its fill and came back for more.
He was the start of it. He was the cause. He watched as a spectral spectator as the scene played out below him. The grand cathedral was filled to the brim with Vampyres, watching the ceremony. It was to be the first time in Blood Lust history that a half blood would take the throne. And yet there was chatter that he would not. He was the rightful heir of Draconus Illumanti Acrost, and even bore his namesake. Now, it was time to convince him that it was his right and duty.
Drei watched in terror as Triss was brought forward. He beautiful white gown was soiled and stained by blood and grime. It hung limpy to her body like rags on a beggar. Her once unblemished face sported brusied and cuts, all bleeding profusely from being untreated. There, Drei saw himself, shackled to the wall in worse condition. He was naked, beaten, scarred, malnourished, and broken. But then, when he raised his head, his gaunt eyes beheld his beautiful angel. He watched her as she came close to him and attempted to fall on him and hold him, but both were held back in shackles. Everyone laughed at the display of affection. Slowly, a dark clad vampyre towered over them.
"Take your place as King Designate, Drei, and Rule with an Iron fist. Have this wretch as your concubine and mate with a real Vampyre. Rule as your weak father never could." Each word rolled off his tongue with acidic sharpness. Yet each word only gave Drei more resolve.
Drei watched himself do the unthinkable. Drei began to laugh. His hearty laugh cut through the cathedral with a ressonance that scared all of those watching into a chaotic frenzy. A resounding thud could be heard as the doors slammed shut and the Cathedral began to sink into the mountain. Then, everyone looked on in terror as Drei's shackles shattered and he raised himself up. This was his rebirth. Slowly, everyone began to murmur. "The Void... it's coming... He posseses the Void!" Then all were silenced as it wrapped itself around him and clothes him in rich robes. He took one step forward and everyone gasped.
Slowly, his own voice whispered through the room with such quite ferocity that it seemed as if the Head Chancellor's threatening howl was a child squeel. "Let her go, and I will be mercifull." Drei watched himself form his trademark Katanas in the air around him. But the Chancellor was unphased.
"Accept your position! Take your place as King!" He bellowed, but it still seemed as if a whisper. "Take it or we will kill her." Drei faltered for a moment. Then he spoke loudly with all the force of Vampyric eons behind him.
"I WILL NOT!" He shouted, and in doing so, sentanced Triss to death. The Chancellor moved with the skill of thousands of years of practice and before Drei could stop him, he slit her belly open and let her life force flow freely. He then slit her neck and dug in with his fangs into her neck, bleeding her dry.
Drei stopped. Everything stopped. And then a small voice rang out. it was calm, cool, and spoke in Bloodlust Vampyric. "With my power, you could have stopped them that day. You know that. That's why we called you." Drei peered at a form of orange light at the opposite end of the cathedral. Drei called to it.
"I know your name. It is Caleb, owner of Dranconium. You were imprisoned with your consipritors in the Seven Acrane Polymorphs. Why and how have you freed yourself?" Drei's voice waved and faltered.
"You freed me, Drei. You freed all of us. And now we want to pay you back. If you bring my family back together we can give you anything." Slowly everything faded except for the body of Trissia suspended in Death, Caleb, and Drei. Drei looked at the only woman he ever loved and his heart longed to feel her again. He walked up to her and attempted to carress her face, but she faded before he could touch her.
"We can bring her back Drei. You know that. That's why they imprisoned us, because we are strong. With the Draconium family back together, we will be strong." Caleb appeared behind Drei and whispered in his ear. "And with a Void master as our head, we can not fail."
Drei waved Caleb off and looked around. Caleb disappeared and soon everything came back, the cathedral, the people, the screams, and the next events.
Drei flung a Katan through the Head Chancellor's head, impaling him to the wall. In one swift turn, he dissappeared into the void and appeared behind the head council, slitting their necks silently. Soon the crowd was in an uproar. They wear pounding at the doors, screaming for mercy from the Rulers of old.
But their only mercy was found when Drei seeped the Void into their bodies and dropped them to the floor like flies. He watched in feindish glee as they writhed on the floor in pain, men, women, and childern, all screaming at the tops of their lungs until they finally exploded in a gorey mess that covered the walls. The Void tore through their bodies, drinking the life force in white whisps as each died, returning to the gleeful, Bloodlust driven Drei. And then he came to Triss, who laid in the center fo the carnage, untouched by the blood massacre. He knelt next to her and remembered himself calling on the powers of the Void.
"Please, Fathers and Brothers, lend me your life and give me my love, that she may live." But the Void did not answer. There was no answer as Drei crumpled to the floor, sobbing and tearstained as the inky darkness floated around him.
Drei could hear the voice behind him again. Do you remember that feeling of hopelessness. Do you remember not being able to save the one you loved? Do you remember how close you thought you were to bringing her back? Do you remember, how they let you down? Drei conceeded and turned to Caleb.
"Caleb, I have a deal for you. Give me your power, and your family's and I wil set you free in return for all of my previous life, including my wife." Drei held out a palm to the orange figure. Slowly it looked over Drei.
"Deal." With that, it grasped his hand and exploded in a dazzling display of light and heat. Soon, Drei slipped into the darkness and left his memories.
Drei stood back on the beach, and now with a devious smile, slid the jem onto his katana and slid it into his sheath.
If there was one thing he learned from the head Chancellor, it's how to double cross someone. (There's Drei's history before he came to Rosso's)
BONUS two: Drei picked up the daggar and instantly felt the energy exude from it as he picked it up and was forced into the Void. He floated there and calmly crossed his arms as a form became solid on the horizon. It came closer and closer, and larger and larger, untill it towered stories over him. He floated calmly up and faced the behemoth. It was a large silver being, not completly material and not completly ethreal. It had an oddly shaped head and seemed to done armor as it was a helmet that was covered in Vampyric runes. Drei looked him over and only smiled. "I take it you are Acrost?" asked the being.
Drei nodded and bowed low to the being. "Yes sir. And I take it you are Zeronastrial?" The being nodded slowly and seemed to form a throne that would have taken up planets to host it. He sat and slowly began to nod off. Then, the being seemed to sit straight up and stare at Drei in a Mix of hatred and fear.
"Wait, I feel... Is that Caleb?" The being felt Drei's prescense that overflowed from recent accquisitions. Drei grinned wider and wider as Zeronastrial's voice ressonated with fear and disgust. "And Baronas as well?" Then, all of a sudden, Zeronastrial was towering over Drei, his palms attempting to lock around him.
Drei only held his hands out and the palms stopped as they were surrounded with a purple Aura. Then Drei rose and floated towards Zeronastrial's face. The old Vampyre was visibly shaken. "Yes, they were once in existance. But they're time came. And they left screaming for mercy." Drei's voice was inhumanly calm and gleeful as the large silver being began to quake. He was surrounded by the purple aura that had clasped his hands still.
"No, You can't. We were the Draconium family. No one should be able to do this." Drei only smiled as the mist that was Zeronastrial was slowly encased in the purple box. It became smaller and smaller and smaller and smaller. "Please! Have Mercy. We can give...." He was cut off as Drei grabbed his throat and twitched his fingers, snapping the form's solid neck. He had compacted him into a maliable form and did kill him.
"There is no mercy for mass murders." Drei said as he bowed to the mist. He then stood and opened his mouth, the mist filling his mouth and being swallowed. Drei then formed into the real world and looked around through his new eyes. He could see every fiber of space and time that could possibly be morphed and bent to his will. He only smiled and plucked a cord, hearing it's melodious carcophany as he opened a portal in time and stepped through, leaving Rosso's and began walking through time.
OOC: Drei has gained the ability to Kill the Draconium family just ask he killed you. That means that they become dead and he absorbs their abilities. Thanks for the absorbtion. I might bring these items back with small powers.
