So I went down to the park today to play tennis. Yeah...my dad and I got down there and there were some kids, six boys to be exact, around my age playing a baseball game with some kind of stick and some tennis balls. YOU DON'T PLAY BASEBALL ON TENNIS COURTS. THAT'S WHAT A BASEBALL FIELD IS FOR. I talked to a couple of boys and said that there are baseball fields they can use (there are three of them at the park, and none of them were being used!). And I told them that they knew it too. The one boy just looked at me, basically saying to me that he heard me. So I glared at all of them as they were gonna start to try hitting the ball with the stick again. They also contemplated stopping, and they eventually did after hitting the ball with the stick one more time. After stopping, they decided to use the tennis balls to hit to each other with, using their hands as tennis rackets. Now that's more like it. Later, towards the end of my dad and I's practice, this boy comes riding around on his bike on the courts. Then he starts skidding around on the courts, which causes me to yell at him. YOU AREN'T ALLOWED TO RIDE A BIKE ON THE TENNIS COURTS. I told him to get off the courts, and he says in a whiny voice, "You could just say 'please'!" Kid, I was too agitated to say please. But I ended up saying please anyways, just to make him happy. stare But I felt mean to that boy, 'cuz he didn't know any better. But I know that a lot of you other tennis players out there don't like it when skateboarders and bike riders come and ruin the courts. That's why I feel mean, and also not mean! *sigh...*
