Aah.. here are some poems that inspire me:
This one is similar to the one I wrote- Suicidal? I found this after I wrote that, so I thought I might as well post it on here.
RĂ©sume Razors pain you; Rivers are damp; Acids stain you; And drugs cause cramp. Guns aren't lawful; Nooses give; Gas smells awful; You might as well live. -Dorothy Parker
Here's another one about suicide... trust me I'm not doing this on purpose, hehe. I just found these recently and I liked them sooo I'm putting them on here. Anyway you already know most of what I write or the authors that I post are either morose or dark (one and the same??).
Too Blue I got these sad old weary blues. I don't know where to go. Nobody cares about you When you sink so low. What shall I do? What shall I say? Shall I take a gun and put myself away? I wonder if one bullet would do? Hard as my head is, It would probably take two. But I ain't got neither Bullet nor gun- And I'm too blue To look for one. -Langston Hughes
Here's something on a lighter note.
Dreams Hold fast to dreams For if dreams die Life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams For when dreams go Life is a barren field frozen with snow. -Langston Hughes
Well.. that wasn't really on a lighter note now that I think about it. At least it wasn't about death biggrin
Last one for the day, then I'm off to study.
Pieces Of Me Who am I? I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, an artist, a teacher, a musician, a friend, a student, and things that have not revealed themselves to me. I am more than my body, my thoughts, my experiences, my passions, and my fears. I am a work in progress I am a divine soul; part of a greater tapestry of other divine souls. I am here to evolve into my best self- to come to trust in the universe, learn from adverse experiences, and revel in as much joy as I possibly can in this lifetime by being true to my soul. -Susan Tuttle
