Dear Journal,
Well, it's the Monday after the aftermath of this weekend: I am burnt to a chrisp, in debt, and still sick, but it was all worth it.
We left Friday around 2:00 p.m. and got to the hotel about 6:00 p.m., had lunch and went swimming.
Saturday we got up around 7:00 a.m. and got to the ranch about 9:40 a.m. The gates opened at 10:00 a.m. and we hung around untill the first concert started at 11:00 a.m. We saw Susan Gray. My mom stayed there and I went to get her autograph. She was SO sweet. I told her it was soon going to be my birthday and she wished me happy birthday. I went back to the same area and we stayed and listend to another group. Then we went to see Sanctus Real at 1:00 p.m. then we went back and watched a few other groups. At about 3:00 p.m. the sun was making my mom and I sick to our stomachs so we went back to our hotel room and cooled off in the pool. we went back to see Jaci Velasquez at 6:30 p.m. and then the guest speaker, Tony Boselli at 7:30 p.m. And then, the highlight of my evening (besides Susan Gray), THE NEWSBOYS!! There concert was last because they were the "Feature Band". They gave an AWESOME concert!! After everything was over, we went to Toco Bell and got something to eat. I was so tired and sore from standing that I ate and went to sleep around 12 a.m.
Sunday we got up at 9:00 a.m., backed up, checked out, went to WhatABurger for breakfast and got home about 2:00 - 2:30 p.m.
I took lots of pictures and I hope an pray the ones of the Newsboys turn out. I will scan the best ones and post them here!
