In the darkness i have laid,
Deep and buried i shut all out, even my true self
So i walked in the darkness, acting without a care,
Even when deep inside i wanted to cry, to scream,
Hoping that there would be someone to cry to
I found no one, found nothing
The mood of myself made it pour a most violent storm
I decided not to care and cried to make it look like it was the rain
And there you were, without hesitation
"I love you, angel of the night" you said in words most sincere

"Why? How could i be sure its true?" I asked. I couldn't understand
your kindness
With my defenses still up, you broke my barriers

U picked me up and showed me the light
The warmth of your body against mine
You gave me your hand, and we walked into the light...
