Something’s not right…The air smells different. Very different. Rei sighed as she looked up at the Vampire mansion. Something has gone wrong. The council has to be warned. She took off as a Vampire looked out the window.
That’s odd. I wonder why that wolf was staring at the mansion…Maybe its got something to do with the omens I have been spotting, Hotaru thought with a sigh. Suddenly she heard thunder and saw a bright flash. Maybe I should go for a ride and see if that can’t clear my thoughts. After that battle…Nothing seems right anymore. She turned away from the window and walked to her bedroom door. There she stopped and grasped the handle while turning it. Outside waited a man no more than 25 years old by the looks of it.
“Lady Hotaru.” He bowed.
“What is it Kotoro? Why have you waited outside my door?” When he didn’t answer she smiled. “You may stand.”
He stood up and beckoned her to come out. “Have you seen the Spirit wolves?”
“Yes. I believe one was just standing outside this very mansion. What of it?”
“Have you heard the rumours?”
She raised one eyebrow in question, “Rumours? About what?”
“About the omens that have been happening. Also about the possible war with the Lycans.”
“Lycans? Possible war? And the people thought I was messed up when I suggested that the Lycans aren’t all that they are cracked up to be.” Hotaru walked to the stairs and looked at Kotoro. “Tell everybody not to panic. Just tell them to keep to themselves and to continue drinking their blood.”
“And if they don’t listen?”
Hotaru looked at him. “Then make them listen.” With that she walked out of the mansion and looked into the forest. Then she heard more wolves howling and she shivered.
“Lady Hotaru! It seems as if a spirit creature is appearing around here.” Kotoro shouted while pointing to the distance where a dragon had just appeared. It roared and looked towards the vampire mansion where its anger seemed to be directed.
“Where is she? Cursed creatures! WHERE IS SHE!” He roared and flames gushed from his mouth.
“Talk about angry dragons.” Hotaru shivered; as she got closer she could tell that he had just come back from a very demonic place.
“Lady Hotaru! Look at the forest’s edge!” He pointed and Rei bared her fangs. Hotaru looked and couldn’t help but shiver again.
“I would stop pointing. That spirit wolf doesn’t look very happy at you noticing her.
