lol hi guys! im currently writing a book! i thought it would be kwl to let u guys kno how its comin along.

Long ago, there existed a race of completely AI constructs. It is said that they where the ones who made the universe we know today. I call them the Progenitors. After the universe was built, the Progenitors ruled, But the races of the universe soon began to doubt their existence. When the progenitors where forgotten…they had no power over the races. The few races who knew about their existence demanded independence from them. for it is in a beings nature to be independent and free of laws. The progenitors knew they where now powerless and built a few new planets and the progenitors hid within the depths of them. This series is about their up rise, but before I tell you that story I must tell you haw they where awakened
CHAPTER I:ARRIVAL
“we have been forgotten…but only to be discovered again!”

“Tass…Tass! Wake up!” said Alis while softly shaking Tass awake.
”huh? Wha??” said Tass ,sitting up and rubbing the sleep away from his eyes. He looked up at Alis wondering why she had awakened him.
“We will be arriving soon.” said Alis sitting back in her seat
Tass looked out of his window beside his seat. The ground was black…like it had been burnt. There was not a cloud in the sky.
“Not very pretty is it?” asked Alis as she was looking out of her window
“This whole planet is ugly. It just looks like a round black rock!” exclaimed Tass,But as he was about to turn away from the window, he saw a glint from the ground below. He looked at it. Wondering what it was, he thought “what is a city doing in the middle of a barren wasteland like this?” Then it struck him.” there it is Alis! Its Gannon City!!”he yelled, almost jumping right out of his seat. Gannon city stands out in the wasteland like a silver button, or an oasis. Gannon city is the bustling capital of the mining operation on the planet Gannon. Gannon is rich in resources like, iron, aluminum, cobalt, and other metals ,precious gems, and most fuels for automobiles and space ships alike. As the transport ship descended to the surface of gannon, the silver button transformed into a glowing metropolis, full of cars driving on the streets below and the ships flying overhead. in the middle of all this action,t here was a brown hole in the ground…about 2 miles wide at the entrance, with mining ships buzzing in and out of the cave. This is the most ore rich mine in all of Gannon. After a minut of decending to the surface, The transport docked at a docking bay just outside of the mine.
“Please go through the door and proceed to the administration office down the hall and to your left, and thank-you for flying Gannon airlines. Have a nice day!” said the flight attendant.
Tass stepped outside of the transport and was stunned at the size of the city. tall buildings towering countless feet into the air, huge highways with cars zipping across and countless numbers of ships flying around and about.
“Its bigger than I ever dreamed it to be! isn’t it amazing Alis?” asked Tass looking behind him to see his friend step off of the ship.
“beautiful….isn’t it?” said Alis gazing up into the ship clogged sky.
Well…its not going to be beautiful for long if we just keep standing here!” yelled Tass, he was looking at the security guards. what where eyeing them. Alis looked down and followed Tass into the administration office.
CHAPTER II biggrin REAMS
“Those whom wish to find us…may only find us when we wish…”

“well….so u want to work in the mines huh?” asked the administration officer, looking at Tass and Alis expectantly.
“well.. yes, we wouldn’t have come here for any other reason but to mine…I mean this is the mining capital of the world.” explained Tass, shaking nervously at the thought of being rejected. he tried to focus on something else to get the nervousness out of his system…but whatever he did wasn’t enough to distract his thoughts of failure.
“well…congratulations…you have met our qualifications and can start working tomarrow,I trust that you have a house and or an apartment in this city?” asked the administration officer.
“y-yes I do have an apartment in this city”replied Tass nervously.
“Here’s your administration papers. You will be able to mine after you attend Ules’s mining training session. You may leave now.”said the administration officer.
Tass thanked the admin officer and walked out of the room and plopped down lazily into a chair outside the administration office.”Hey Alis,u can go in now!”Alis got out of her seat and stepped into the admin office.a couple of minutis later,wich seemed hours to Tass,she came bursting out of the room screeming”I got in Tass!I got in!!”she yelled that so loud that all of the other people in the other rooms poked their heads out and wanted to know what all the racket was.Alis looked around at the confused officers and then immediately turned around and started blushing”heh…heh…I guess I said that too loud.”Alis said in a small voice. Tass looked at her and unplugged his fingers from his ears and said”yea…ill say..u practicly broke almost all of the windows in the building!”
Alis looked up and her eyes brightened as she remembered that they had bought an apartment in the city”lets go check out out our apartment,Tass!”she said while running down the hall.Tass looked surprised as he also remembered that they had bought an apartment.
“HEY!!!”yelled Tass”wait up! Stop running!”when he had caught up with her,they where already at the apartment complex.Tass leaned against the wall and was trying to catch his breath while Alis was staring at the huge sky scraper.Alis looked down at Tass and laughfed. “what? Whats so funny!?”said Tass with a birght red face.
“I remember when u could beat me at any athletic thing…and here you are…panting for breath!”Said Alis bursting out laughing.
“well…lets see what our aparements like.”said Tass desprately trying to change the subject.
When they arrived at their room,they put their fingers on the fingerprint key reader.the reader beeped a few times before they heard a loud click and the door slid right open.thety both gasped when they saw the room.the room was huge,about the size of a 3 room house,the floors and walls where made of marble and the celing was made of metal with a cement covering.A big glass window was facing the east side of the room,making nearly all of Gannon City visable.the apartment was a 2 room.the main room was the practicly all-in-one room. On the west side,there was a stove,microwave,refridgerator and cabinets for food.on the north side,there was a big screen tv and the latest gameing platform as well as some famous movies and on the west side layed 2 king sized extra soft futons.right next to the futons was a door,Alis ran tward it and thrust open the door revealing a reltively small bathroom compared to the huge main room,in the bathroom,there was a big marble and gold sink with ornate decorations and tons of soap and a gilded mirror.the bathtub was even better…it was a large bathtub with a silver shower head and a gold rim.”ive never seen so much gold and silver in my life!”exclaimed Alis while she was stumbling from one thing to another.
“its not that big of a deal…u do know that this is the mining CAPITAL of the world.the people here can afford to put luxury items at extremely low prices due to the abundance of all that ore that’s not getting shipped of,I bet that solid gold neaklaces cost less than 100th of what they sell them for at Gannon Prime.”explained Tass as he just calmly flipped through the various games and movies.
“yea…b-but…so…..much…of…it…can make your head spin!”said Alis while stumbling around the room.
“im tired from all that nervusness from the interview,why don’t we call it a day?”saud Tass yawning a toothy yawn and slipping into one of the futons.
“yea…”said Alis
“w-what are u doin!”exclaimed Tass as he felt Alis slip into the same futon.”oh no…what am I gona do?whats she doin?I cant even look at her…ok ,calm down…just slip out of the futon and go into the other 1...no eye contact…just do that quietly…”thought Tass as he tried to slip out.Alis was alredy sleeping.in an instant,Tass felt something grab him and hold on to him like he was a teddy bear.
“ackkk! What am I gona do now!?!?im trapped!oh crap!I hope she does nothing weird!”After a few hours Tass fell asleep.
Tass was suddenly in a dark cave…with a mining drill in his hands,he was drilling away at the hard rock face with Alis beside him clearing out the drilled debris from underneath him.after a few seconds,Tass heard a clank and his drill stopped and the bit started sparking.Alis noticed this and told him to stop.She started so crack away at the rock next to the hole.after a few hours Alis had chipped away most of the rock surrounding the metal,there was the “eye”of a progenitor ship.the ships eye turned on and started speaking to him…”death,destruction…and its all because of YOU!!!”Tass heard a voice gradually growing louder saying”Tass…Tass!TASS!!!wake up!Wake up or we are goin to be late for work!”it was Alis.
CHAPTER III:AWAKENING
“those whom disturb my slumber will be exterminated!”

“ohhhhh!where gonig to be late!!!u sleepyhead!”yelled Alis as they ran to the mine.it was a nice sunny day,besides that aquward moment last night,Tass had a good sleep.But he couldn’t get that dream out of his head…”death and destruction,all because of YOU!!”Tass couldn’t get those words out of his mind.they finally arrived at Ules’s training room.when they stepped inside everyone in the room looked at them like they where thinking “are you bonkers?you wanna get fired on the first day of work?”but dispite their looks,they said nothing ant turned back to Ules.
“git in ere’ and quit foolin’ around out dere’!”yelled Ules
Tass and Alis jumped inside the room istantly from the loudness of his voice.
“Sit down rite ere’!”yelled Ules.
Tass and Alis bolth went to the front of the room and sat.
“now…if you are all ere’ ive got a cople of things to tell yall’!”Ules picked up a big drill in hid right hand.
“this ere’ is gona be yer new buddy.yer’ gona’ drill wit’ it…ur gona’ sleep wit’ it and its just gona’ be like a third arm to ye once im done.”Ules explained how to use the drill properly,and he showed them some improper usage of the drill and showed how if you hit some metal,the drill bit will get jammed into the meatal and make the drills frame twist.he explained that when this happens…your mining buddy will chip away at the rock to completely expose the vien of ore for the mining ships to take away.during this lecture Tass thought “that drill was in my dream!…and the drill twisted like it was hitting metal…this is freaking me out…and the way your partner is supposed to clear away the rock…no…no way that this is gona happen!”
“that’s all!so haul yer asses out into the mines and put yourselves to work!”screamed Ules.one after another,the other miner got their drills and chisel-hammer.at last Tass and Alis got their drills and chisel-hammers.Tass and Alis traveled down a mine shaft until they came upon an dead-end.Tass eyed the spot carefully and it didn’t look like the spot in his dream.
”lets start to drill here Alis.”said Tass as he was starting his drill up.the drill started up and the bit began spinning with powerful speed.Tass pushed it against the rock and it drilled through it like it was butter.after a few hours of drilling,Tass’s drill fell through a drill hole he was making.Alis started to hammer at the stone wall and it soon gave way to a much larger stone cave.
Tass looked around and noticed that this room was similar to the room in his dream,he looked around and he saw a small drill hole in the wall not far from him.thinking that some-one must have already started to drill here,he doubted that the hole was there in his dream.Tass started to drill into the hard rock surface,Alis was beside him clearing the drilled debris from underneath him.after a few seconds Tass heard a lound clank and his drill began to jerk around in his hand.Tass shut off his drill and told Alis to hammer the rest of the stone surface away,after a few hours Alis had cleared away most of the stone.Tass stared in horror at what he saw.he realized that it was the ship from his dream.he told Alis to stop hammering away at it…but it was too late…the ships camera like eyes started to glow,Tass and Alis heard a low humming sound as the ship powered up.
Then as if some-one was spesking to him in his mind a voice boomed in his head saying“you have disturbed my slumber…now you’re kind shall suffer the consequinces!!!”the ship started to emit a high picthed sound.Tass and Alis covered their ears and ran back into the hole they made and kept on running.running forever out of the mine.
CHAPTER IV:THE FORERUNNERS MINE
“I am you!”

The high picthed sound of the ship was long gone now.Tass and Alis had run seemingly forever trying to get out of the mine…but they had no sucsess in getting out yet.
“where are we?”Asked Tass as he cracked one of the emergency long lasting light sticks on his knee.Tass shone the light stick on the walls,the walls where not rock….but instead,it was a sort of metal.not fully metal and not fully rock…like a blended sustance of both into one.Alis got her flash light out and turned it on.they where in a huge room made of the rore(rock-ore)substance and along the wall where lined with a honeycomb of cells.standing in the center of the room was a control pannel of some sort.
Alis walked over to the pannel.
“this language….ive never seen it before…it like binary..but different…its not just using 0’s and 1’s…but a wide range of other numbers as well as some complicated symbols.”said Alis while scanning over the pannel.while Alis was looking at the pannel,she saw a button that had the symbol of a electrical bolt.Alis pushed the button and the room lit up.she looked stinningly at the size of the room…it was bigger than the had first seen.and when she looked up…it was taller than the tallest skyscraper in all of Gannon .Just then a big hologram of the planet popped up in front of the control pannel.the hologram was of the planet…but it looked different.it was a map of various constructs strewn about the the suteranien level of the planet.the constructs decended all the way down to the planets core. with in the core layed a huge room.Tass was suddenly felling light headed.The room went dark.Tass closed his eyes.when he poened them,he was in a huge room.the room was much larger than the one we was just in.the room was circular in shape had was lit by tiny lights on the inside wall.thr oom was blue in color and was made of metal.a gosly figure appeared in front of Tass.it looked much like himself,but old…very old.”Good evening Tass.”said the ghostly figure.
“w-who are y-you!?”aksed Tass,uncertain if it was his enemy.
“I am you.”replied the ghostly figure while pointing a long finger at Tass.”I am you…the you that existed long before this universe was created.I am part of a race that you may call The Forerunners.We are the race that created the Progenitors.but they where not ment to be free.our dependance on technology led us to create a complete AI capeable of thinking and learning at an accelerated rate.we had achived to build a totally artifical life form.but as all life forms do,they can evolve and adapt to any situation.the progenitors had the desire to be free…we refused their proposition.they fought back…they exterminated all who opposed them…they destroyed the universe before this universe!the progenitors MUST be stopped!make your way to the heart of this planet and activate this weapon.this weapon will destroy them on this planet.but there are more planets.HURRY!before the other Progenitors are awakened!”
The lights grew dimmer and dimmer.Tass felt like his head was spinning in all directions.Tass closed his eyes again.when he opened them. He was lying on his back in the big room he and Alis found.Alis was bent over poking him in his side.
“What happened to you?you kind fell over.”said Alis
“We need to go to the core of Gannon and activate a weapon that will kill the progenitrs!”exclaimed Tass.
“what?Progenitors?what weapon!?”asked Alis.
