Once upon a time, When the world was still young there lived creatures that you would never have thought existed. They were the first inhabitives of the earth, they lived peacefully and played all day. They bore three sharp horns on their heads and wings at their backs, claws in their hooves and a little black nose. They were covered with soft fur of all colors but the most common color was white for they were innocent. They lived for centuries being in complete harmony with the planet.
Until one day their God began to think of them as quite a bore so he scooped up some clay and with it he molded a different kind of creature. He placed these strange creatures on the Earth with his first creatures. He thought hard and in that instant he decided that these new creatures were his greatest. He gave them the name humans, he placed them in the garden of Eden and all was well. In time when the humans became more aware and used to their suroundings they saw the first creatures and with a bit of thought they had named them the Dragonte.
The Dragonte began to feel neglected when their creator focused his attention the the humans. So they did many a thing to try to gain his attention and praise. But he didn't even spare them a glance too busy with his humans. Shuned they took their leave of the garden for they were no longer needed. The humans seeing this tried to stop them but the Dragontes claimed they could not stay. The humans were very saddened by this loss and made them promise that one day they would return and when that day came around that they would welcome the Dragonte back with open arms. The Dragonte promised and sealed it with their nose horn which they gave to the humans promising to come back to claim their horns back. The humans gave the Dragonte their tails which they attached to the Dragonte's spine so they could run with that the Dragonte left and the humans held on to the horns not making it their own but simply waiting to give it back to the Dragonte.
As time passed the humans began to forget about the garden and their God, they soon forgot about their promise and the meaning of the horns. They lost the gift to understand all creatures, and soon the humans grew fearful of that which they didn't understand.
When the Dragonte returned to humanity to claim their horns back, the humans took up arms against them and began to hunt them. The Dragonte's were heart broken and angry, they turned their backs on humanity and left.
Before they left they made one last promise to the humans," We promise we shall not return to your people, you have lied to us and slaughtered us for a reason unknown to us. Do not wait for us for in time you shall forget us entirely when that time comes around, we shall come back to take our vengence!" With that they took off into the sky creating a land above the stars forever watching and waiting for the time that they will go back to the earth.
And in time the humans did forget about the Dragonte but one human not wanting a tragety to come upon the humans created the legend of the Dragon and with it a warning, "do not forget about the Dragons for when you do you shall reget it entirely."
Even to this day the Dragonte wait for their time to come always waiting never forgeting. What became of the horns you ask well they were forever lost in the flow of time, left in the Garden of Eden which will forever be hidden from mortal eyes.
