Played dodgeball with the year 12's who are a few more years above us and more... more... muscular O_o What happened was actually really hilarious, even though they slaughtered us xd
There was only about 10 or so of them, and my class (about 28 students) were divided into two groups so they didn't have to take on our whole class. But who cares? They were doing year 12 sport, which means they're the BEST OF THE BEST. So first, one half of the class went first. We played by the rules of the movie Dodgeball. They put the balls in the centre and the players had to run to get them. Let me just say, the year 12s ran like lightning. When my class saw just how fast they were gonna get them, they all backed away. BACKED AWAY. Hell, some of them even pressed themselves against the wall at the other end. That's how scared they were. Then the game started and they were like machines, no, monsters. They just kept throwing ball after ball after ball and dodging and catching and get this - they did it all SILENTLY. Not a word was said between them but it was so scary -_- First there were 15, then there were 2. One of them was huddled in the corner crying I think (Well, I would've been) and the other was dodging for her life.
Then the dodging one, that brave soul, let's call her J (we must protect her innocence >_> wink ran and scooped a ball off the ground. She then proceeded to run into the year 12s territory. Big mistake. BIG mistake. She ran into their area and threw the ball rather forcefully but the year 12 managed to jump out of the way. Then, it was animal. The year 12's slowly started to close around J, putting her in the centre of the circle like prey. She started looking around like she was really scared and she tried to barge her way out but she just bounced off their muscular muscles. By now, everyone was screaming "NO J, NOOO!!!", "OMFG, GET OUT OF THERE J!! GET OUT NOW!!", " WHAT ANIMALS!! RUN J RUN!!", OMG OMG OMG RUN RUN RUN!! THEY'RE ANIMALS!!" and so on. It was truly horrific. Then 7 year 12s whipped out there balls and raised them. By now, J was looking like she knew her time had come, to be slaughtered. Then there was all these balls pounding into her. Truly, truly horrific.
Then when it was my turn, everyone baked up against the wall automatically. I mean, the year 12's were HUMONGOUS. But they decided to give us a chance and all but three of them sat against the wall. So we stood there, facing the year 12's, no one moving to get a ball. Then one brave soul from my class ventured out and got a ball. She threw it but it got caught. Then the 3 year 12s came forward and grabbed balls. And they started to STRUT. STRUT I tell you STRUT. They did it in slow mo too, like you know when it's like these police or FBI and they slowly strut towards the victim? Yeah, like that. Then it was hell. We were scared, even though when one of the year 12s came towards us with her hand raised but nothing in her hand, we still ran and screamed away. -_- One word = SLAUGHTERED.
