He strummed twice before sighing in frustration. This would be the third time he attempted to tune it.Stupid bloody thing. Why couldn't he leave it alone? He thought as he stared at his guitar in pure hatred. It was Thomas's fault that he couldn't re-tune it. Why did he have to touch it? It just didn't make any sense to him. He heard his cell phone go off and reached for it. When he saw who it was on the call display he let out a groan. Figures it would be Thomas. He opened the cell phone and held it to his ear. "Hey Matt you ready for this?" A male voice asked and Matt smiled. Also figures that Thomas would go for the question approach. "What is it now Thomas? I assume you've finally found a girlfriend?" "Ha! You wish Matt. Sorry but that ain't going to happen anytime soon." "Oh yeah, I forgot. Chicks ain't into the whole, "look at me ladies! I'm a balle dancer!" type thing. "At least its better than playing guitar." "Hey speaking of guitars-" "Oh dear. Look I'm sorry man. I knew that you didn't want me to touch it, yet I went ahead and touched it." "Yeah and you screwed up with the tuning! Now I can't figure out how to re-tune it to the right settings!" "I kinda figured that would happen. Your ma home?" "No...why?" Matt said instantly curious yet worried that Thomas had something stupid planned and that it would involve making a mess out of his house. He could hear Thomas laughing and sighed. "Now what is so damn funny? "The fact that I might have somebody to help you. It seems he knows a lot about stringed instruments." "And that involves my Ma not being home?" Matt said with a slight chuckle. "Well I know how much your Ma hates strangers. I figured this might be the safest way." "Safest way?" Matt repeated as he stood up. He was liking this idea less and less. "Yeah man. Your ma would freak if she found out who you had over." A slight pause then, "Its better this way." "Yeah right. Sorry Thomas but your idea just got out of hand right there. I have this feeling that it is a lot more than just the repair of my tuning." "What do you mean Matt?" Thomas asked, shock clearly heard through his voice. "Trust me man. When we next see each other, you'll understand why I said no to your crazy plan." Matt shook his head and hung up without saying good-bye. He placed his phone on his computer desk and looked around his room. Avenged Sevenfold posters were all over his room and articles of the band were strewn all over his floor. Whenever he was pissed off, he would head towards his computer and look up the most funniest articles he could find....he noticed that he was angry a lot and he sighed.
