Several centuries ago, there was a fire/earth demon of great power named Saturn. She was beautiful and young mother nature who when sent to business with heaven as well as hell took the form of an angel showing where she'd go when she and death met. The demon lady kept utmost order with the help of Kami, her vampire husband who could sometimes turn into the evil dragon of hell myth and Kain a very powerful demon himself.
But soon things went to chaos.
Kami had lost it due to his place in hell. He was supposed to be Lucifer himself following in his father's footsteps- but he refused to and was desperate to stay with his wife, Saturn. His father's wrath yet rained upon him and Kami was forced to forget about Saturn, never believe in a greater good, and wreak hell like he was destined to and had wanted to before.
Of course, Saturn didn't allow this and with the help of Kain they had no choice but to destroy Kami and his father. Once they destroyed Kami's father though, it only made Kami stronger and the power of Hades was with him. All life seemed to crumble and life (Saturn) and strength (Kain) fought death (Kami) alone.
Abruptly in the middle of battle, a cloaked figure with a red tengu mask over his face appeared and suddenly the three fighters were weak in his presence. The figure faced Saturn alone and suddenly she felt ever so drawn to him to move towards him. Saturn's eyes had glimmered with pure evil as she looked into the hood of the cloak.
As, the mask looked was his face so fiendish, until he put Saturn's hand to hover over his face. She blinked the evil leaving her eyes and beheld a very beautiful face and serpent-green eyes, she was dazed momentarily by his beauty until she say her hand was crinkled and red as his face had been. Hot and searing pain went through the veins of her her hand straight to her. Saturn cried and screamed with pain and he released her hand, but caught her as the feeling suddenly left her.
"What the hell is going on?" Kain yelled over to the cloaked figure and herself. "Are you alright?"
The demon lady didn't reply. Instead she kept her eyes staring into the bright yellow ones of the being's face that had turned back to being horrid as her hand.
He spoke to her with a voice as soft as velvet but an evil sharp as ice. "You wish to stop this madness." He then looked over at Kain and Kami who were staring at them frozen because of this mysterious creature's power. Saturn knew what he said was a statement and waited. He eventually turned back to her still holding her in his cloaked arms.
"You would do anything to stop it all. You can. I can steal away Lucifer's power and evil for you. But," his voice now turned so that she shivered with fear, "you would have to be what he is. You would have to be ruler of Hades while Kami takes all your powers. He will remember nothing of you-no one will-not even you, but you will feel the emptiness-so much greater than he. Such hell of a heart you would have, but then it would fit you as ruler of hell!" the cloaked figure ended with laughing ever so wickedly.
Saturn was terrified-more terrified than she'd ever been in her entire life. This was bad -worse- it was destined for an even bigger devastation, but she sought a flaw in his base efforts. Even as she thought of it he had drawn her so close to his face that she could feel the cool breath of death.
"I thrive on misery, oh great lady Saturn. Go ahead kill yourself after we carry on your two-ended deed. But for you I will make it so that you go out so slowly and so full of the worst pain and misery-oh the most delightful misery I've ever so fiendishly devised of! Oh I will love it! I will love your pain to go through with this as the appetizer, and your trials to kill yourself from greedily licking up the power you will have and madness of great intensity! Oh that will be my main course, then desert your dead body and soul," he hissed the last part a tongue sticking out and running down the side of her face.
Saturn tried to pull away, but tears sprouted from her eyes-she couldn't move and she felt the hot and searing pain from his slimy tongue. "Speak," the cloaked figure ordered, removing his tongue from her face and merely running his hand over the spot he'd brushed.
She immediately gasped out, "I've been to hell before and I have the blood of worshipers of the devil inside me. I've killed many before...I have been consumed by my own evil, but I have destroyed it in the end!" she yelled suddenly and somehow sent him soaring.
She felt her powers come back as well as Kami's and Kain's restoring. Saturn quickly ran forward though, towards the creature to try and kill him fast, afraid she might do what he talked of to save Kami. Her love for him was too strong and at times made her so she didn't care a single bit about herself. It was dangerous and scary and she didn't need either more than she already has and had. Just as she raised her fist for attack, he had -out of nowhere- forced her to the ground and pressed his weight heavily against her, also bringing his hideous face up to hers.
The creature yelled in fury, "Fool! You will always have evil inside you and it will always keep to the extreme you made it-you have just learned to keep it from controlling you, but I will make it even stronger by giving you Kami's powers you can't imagine the sweet misery he had suffered for ages before! And since you are a women it would be even more deliciously horrid! You know you want to save Kami! You love him!" he cackled again in her ear. "You love him!"
"I love Kami!" she cried and shrieked with pain. "I LOVE YOU KAMI! I LOVE YOU!" The battle had continued and Kami suddenly stopped fighting at her horrible cry; painful understanding flickering through his now sapphire eyes, and so painful it was that everything stopped going in turmoil. He ran towards Saturn crying her name, but Saturn tried hard to ignore it.
She had to save him once and for all.
"I GIVE KAMI MY HEART AND POWERS AND TAKE HIS HEART AND POWERS IN RETURN! I WILL BECOME RULER OF HELL!" Saturn's voice echoed ominously around the suddenly silent earth. "I MUST SAVE YOU!"
"Saturn," Kami gasped, his eyes wide with horror. "No! TAKE IT BACK" he cried his voice full of emotion as if his heart had just broken completely.
"IT'S TOO LATE!" the cloaked figure roared in victory as he raised his hands toward the both of them. Their powers rose into the air going to either's body now resting lifeless on the ground and clashing in a white light, renting the air with only their barring screams and a wicked, icy, cackle.
