This one is not a poem! (What a surprise, lol.)
Okay, so we had this dumb contract for internet before we got DSL and you wouldn't believe (figure of speech) what happened! The DSL thing got turned off so now we need to pay $500 to the company to get it back, since we don't have a phone line. So, we got this 5 GB internet card, and what sucks, is that my family and I like to use the internet a lot, but we have to limit our time to only about an hour a day! I wouldn't mind that as much if I was in school, but school doesn't start until Wednesday, so I'm stuck suffering! (lol)
On another note, school starts on Wednesday, as I stated above. I will be in 8th grade, which is at the high school, since we have a small middle school, so they're building a new middle school somewhere else.
I can't wait to head back to school! I would really love to see all my new teachers and all of my friends again!
My class schedule for 1st quarter is: 10th grade Geometry ( rolleyes yay), Science, Government/Economics, Language Arts, Lunch, Communication Skills, Gym, Chorus, and Spanish!
I was soooo happy I got Spanish, but mad that my sister got Class Guitar, the main class that I want, since I have a guitar and can only play a couple cords, but I got it for my birthday, so I haven't had that much time to practice.
I'm also happy that I saw all of my friends on Wednesday at 8th grade Orientation and that I found out that a lot of them are on the team (explain later) as me! And a lot of them are in my homeroom, but so are some of the idiots at our school rolleyes .
Okay, about the whole team thing at school. In each grade there are 3 different teams, sometimes they compete with each other, sometimes they don't. But they have the teams so not all of the students are all in the same area. The teams for the grades are as followed: 6th Grade- White (team I was on), Red, and Blue. 7th Grade- (school colors) Black (the team I was on), Silver, and White. And for 8th Grade- Red (the team I'll be on), Orange, and Blue.
Here's a thing that sucks about my school: We have to where lanyards and for the Middle School they are neon green and they are ugly, hardly anyone likes to where them, even some of the teachers take them off during class! We also have these school ID cards that we have to wear, and if we don't, we get a referall, and after you get 3 referalls, you get a detention.
Okay, tomorrow I will be shopping with my mom and sis for school supplies and school clothes, so I won't be on for a while that day, but I'll still try to get on.
