Okay, so I know WHY I joined the beginner choir, but that isn't a reason to stop wondering. I mean, I was in the most loved choir, A cappella, and the best choir in the state last year, and now what? Well, I'm still in the best choir in the state, but the BEGINNER CHOIR!? I joined because my sister wanted me to be in it with her. Freshmen can't be in Concert (the best) until they prove to the director that they derserve it and whatnot, so I couldn't ask her to join that choir, so I ended up being stuck in Mixed (beginner). Blech. It drives me up the wall how frustrated I get with all the freshmen who can't keep their fricken mouths shut. I swear, I want to wring some of their little necks sometimes and tell them to Stafoo (stfu) and listen to me. The director appointed me as Section Leader for the sopranos, so it's my job to keep them on track and help fix mistakes we're having and whatnot. When I try to say something that will help them sing the song better, don't you think they should have the common curtesy to at least shut their mouths until I'm done? At this point, I don't give a crap if they don't listen, but could I at least have some respect? Fricken A!!!
