Lauthin got to the village a few hours later he walked to the pokemon center and asked if he could get his pokemon checked he sat down on the chair and gave a soft sigh. Mermie walked in, her long braid swaying back and forth, she was chatting animely with the machop beside her, though a grunt every now and then was her answer. Once she reached Nurse Joy she grinned and asked, 'How is Psy doing?' The pink haired nurse replied kindly, 'Just fine. I'll have him up in a moment. I need to take Lauthin's pokemon back anyway. Take a seat, please.' K. Come on Macho." The brunette sat down in a chair beside Lauthin, stretching her feet out infront of her. Lauhtin looked at the girl beside him and smiled lightly he knew he would get his pokemon back one at a time after a bit he got his Ninetails back he smiled as he was told she was fine he started to pet her lightly and smiled he was happy she was fine. Mermie turned and looked over at the boy beside her, "Beautiful ninetails. Did Nurse J, groom her or do you do it yourself?" Lauthin looked at her "i did it myself...i spent most of my life with this ninetails and i've always wanted to take care of it" he smiled looking at her he loved his Ninetails and looked at the girl "my name is Lauthin" "Mermie." Laughing the brunette streched out her arm to shake his hand. "The is my little buddy of here, he's not the friendliest of my pokemon though." The fighting pokemon grunted and the teen stuck her tongue out at him, "You know it's true, Psy is much more compainble than you. Though it hard to get a word in with him." Lauthin smiled and looked at her "it's really nice to meet you Mermie" he soon got his other pokemon his Eevee on his lap and his Vaporion to his side "these are all my Pokemon" "Well Macho here and..." reaching into her bag Mermie pulled out a pokeball and flicked her wrist."Hitmonchan, welcome out. Say hello to my friend Lauthin." The purple clad pokemon walked over to Lauthin and punched him softly on the arm. "Hitmon." The fighting pokemon nodded his head and walked over, glaring at Machop. "Eh, those two are having a few issuses with each other." "Psyduck!!" A loud quack like call echoed through the lobby, along with a clumsy run. "Psy. Psyduck." "Oof." The water pokemon dove onto Mermie's lap unexpectidly causing her head to bounce of the back of the seat. "Glad to see you two, Psy. What's it been a hour?" "Psyyyyduck." "Sorry, Mermie, he got away from me. Chansy tried to get the rest of the green out while I stitched his wing." "It's fine, Nurse Joy. Thanks for helping him." The pinkette nodded and walked towards the door again. "And this, is Psy." "Psy. Psy. Psy." "He got away from me and knocked over a can of green paint." The blue-eyed teen turned to her pokemon and shook her head, "What kind of breed am I if my Pokemon, is green?" "Psy." The duck pokemon nudged Lauthin with its head. "Psy." Lauthin looked at her and got his pokemon back into there Pokeballs "so where are you heading to?" he was hoping that it was somewhere close to his next town so he can be with her and get to know more and hopully become good friends with her he looked at her and smiled he knew she was nice and kind but wondered why the Psyduck was nudging him with his head. "Ah, I'm really not sure at the moment. Consider me a wander. Come on Macho, let's have Hitmon out of a whille." Mermie called in the machop back into his pokemon and put it back in her bag. Reaching over the brunetted rubbed the duck pokemons head. "Let's get you back before you cause anymore mischeif." "Ps-" As she returned to her pokeball Mermie shook her head. "yduck. I know. I have another pokemon too, I just can't summon her. So where are you headed?" "Hitmon?" Lauthin looked at her and smiled "well i'm here to get my badge then i'm of to Fonderton town for the next badge" he was blushing and you could see it "w-would you like to come with me?" he was never to good when it came to talking to girls. A large grin spread across Mermies, face and she laughed. "I'd love to. Whatta ya say Hitmonchan?" "Hit-hitmon." "Yeah, I'd get to talk to people a little more. It's settled then. So when are you heading off the to gym." Lauhtin looked at her and smiled "ummm as soon as possible i guess" he was still blushing he wanted to to say something but knew he couldn't "your.......nevermind" he wished he had the courage to say that she was pretty but he was still to shy at the moment. "Okay, hey you wanna do a practice match before you go?" Lauthin looked at her and smiled "ya sure..but why not make it interesting...loser has to do something for the winner" he didn't know if this was a good idea or not he did only have three pokemon Biting her lip she thought for a moment, or atleast pretended too. "Deal. One on one ,then? Wanna shake on it?" Lauhtin took her hand and shook it lightly "your on" he knew they were both at a disadvantage seeing that they knew each others pokemon he walked out of the pokecenter and gave a sigh "lets go in the woods" he pointed to a nearby pass Standing up, Mermie followed behind him, her Hitmonchan following beside her. "It been a little bit since I battle. But, don't go easy on me." Lauthin looked at her "i've never had a battle this is my first time on a journey" they were soon at the area he got out a ball and got Ninetails out. "Hmm." It would make since to you water type, but that'd ruin the fun, Mermie thought. "Go on, Hitmon, you have fought in a while. Don't we need a judge though? Would have Macho judge be okay?" {{OOC: i'm doing my home school stuff and shouldn't even be repling right now, but my mom stepped out. So...sorry in advance if I don't reply for a while. I'm on here to listen to music as I work.}} (( no problem about it)) Lauthin looked at her and nodded "no it's o.k just when there knocked out or something...lets begin" he smiled "Ninetails use Flamethrower on Hitmonchan" Ninetails did as she was told and did the command it was there first battle together. "Hitmon, dodge and use punch." Ninetail got hit by the punch and slowly got up "Ninetails use quick attack" Nintails move quick and went straight for the Hitmonchan At the last moment Ninetails faked a left, and Hitmonchan fell for it, jumping to the left. The attack hit right and knocking the fighting pokemon back a few meet. "Hitmonchan, use punch again!" Ninetails got hit by the punch and then hit a tree she was then knocked out. Lauthin ran to his Ninetails "you but up a good fight now get some rest" he got Ninetails back into her pokeball and stood up and walked to her "well you won what's my dare" Mermie called Hitmonchan back in the ball and grinned at Lauthin, "Oh, since you did so well, lets say we tie, eh? We both get to dare each other?" Lauhtin looked at her "o.k...so what's your dare to me?" he was blushing lightly he knew he would probably make her kiss him but thought that might be a bit much at the moment. The brunette giggled, "I'm going to hold on to my dare for a while. Feel free to use yours up now." Lauhtin looked at her and blushed lightly "i...i dare you...to...kiss me" after he had said that he had been blushing a lot more he didn't know if he should have said that or not. Mermie gave Lauthin a serious look, "I've known you for one day, but..."the bruntette walked over and grabeed Lauthin's chin, "consider it a good luck for you Pokebattle." Leaning down she pressed her lips onto the boy's cheek, then stepped back, her arms against her sides and a blush across her face. "You didn't specify were, Mr. Lover-boy." Lauthin looked at her and gave ga soft sigh "i thought it was kind of obvious but oh well...i'm gonna go rent a room for the night you wanna come with?" he knew it was stupid and he knew it would backfire "i still have my dare to do" "I think I'm going to hold onto my dare for a while." Mermie walked along side of Lauthin, "We're traveling now together now. So two rooms? Or one room with two beds." Lauthin looked at her "alright but you have to use the dare by tomorrow" he smiled and looked at her "ummm i think one room with two beds would be a lot cheaper then two rooms at it gives us more space" he smiled and looked at her and gave a sigh "Okay. One room it is." Tapping her finger on her chin. "Any inns you have in mind?" Lauthin looked at her "ummm im new here i have no idea where the inn is so you lead us to any you want" "Hai. It's been a bit since I've been around this area, but if I remember correctly there's a nice little inn a couple block away from the Pokecenter." Twirling around on her heal Mermie started to walk back to the towns, "Wanna race to the center?" Lauthin looked at her "that depends are we gonna make this another dare thing and if so these have to be used right away" he looked at her with a small grin he wanted to win so he can get revenge for her kiss on the cheek earlyer "Yeah, another dare for whoever wins. Ready...GO!" Mermie tooks off running, each step a spring. The wind tossled her bangs, but her heavy braid stayed on her back. Lauhtin began to run he knew that he was going to lose he knew he could have gotten nintails out and ride on top of her but she was two injured for something like that he soon got to the pokemon center but he had lost the race "crap well what is my dare" "You can keep the dare, Mr. Lover-boy." Mermie stood on her tip toes and ruffled his hair. "The inn is this was fallow me." THe burnette led the brown haired boy down a couple blocks to a traditional looking buidling. "Don't worry, the owner was a my grampy's childhood friend." Lauthin looked at her and shook his head "no i lost and i have to be dared it's only right" he wondered why she gave him such a nickname he walked into the inn and ordered a room with two beds. "Eh, live a little, you can have the dare." ((Sorry it took so long, I though I replied, but had imageined it ^^" wink ) Lauhtin looked at her as he got to the room and locked it "dare me just dare me anything...i already owe you two of them and what if i take it from you and make you do something perverted?" Mermie shrugged carelessly then locked eyes with him, "I'd kick your a**. I've been sparring with my Pokemon since I could walk." Lauthin looked at her "then give me a dare if not i'll take it and i'll do something you don't want" he locked eyes with her and had a small grin "Eh? Fine." The brunette took her shoes off the sat cross legged on her bed, "you dare is...."a sly smile made its way onto her face and she jumped off her bed and jogged over to her pack digging around until she found a spray can in it, pulling it out her eyes sparked, "Call this my dare." She threw the can over to him and he caught it, "Spray for your hair, ideally its for Psy, but nurse Joy got all the green out....it'll last a couple days. And you gotta let me put it in your hair." Lauthin looked at her and smiled lightkly "alright then lets do it" he thought it might be fun to do it and didn't mind as long as he was with her he knew it wouldn't be to bad at least. Mermie skipped over the Lauthin and took the can out of his hands, "Let go in the bathroom so it won't get on the beds." The two walked in the bathroom "Okay sit down on the toilet and closer your eyes." Lauthin looked at her and smiled as he sat down on the toilet seat and closed his eyes "after i want to do something real fast alight?" he gave a sigh as she started to spray "Sure." Mermie placed her hand over Lauthin's eyes to make sure no spray made its way in, even though they were closed. After a few minutes the hand was moved and she pulled him to the mirror. "Look." She'd done the front faroud his face was blonde. "Whatcha think?" Lauthin looked it the mirror and gave a small smile "not bad i've had better but i've had worse" he stooed up and smiled "my turn" he learned in and kissed her softly on her lips. Mermie stepped back and her face was red, looking him the eyes she reaised a brown eye brow, "How long have you known me?" Lauthin gave a sigh "maybe twelve hours...but that doesn't mean i can't have felling for you does it?" he looked down "never mind" he walked out of the washroom and went to the bed and laid down and put the covers over him. Mermie shuffled walked to her pack, "No, but it doesn't give you permission to kiss someone when you don't know anything about that person. Your lucky your cute, otherwise you'd be pulp." Stanidng up she walked back to the bathroom, "I'm going to shower, stay out, k?" Lauhtin gave a sigh "i gave you a kiss doesn't mean i want to have sex with you" he stoof up and left his pokemon there "i'm going for a walk not sure if you care but i probably won't be back tonight" he left the room and gave a small sigh and started to walk around the city Storming over to the window, she flung it opend and yelled out of it, "Ugh! I was kidding! I tell everyone not to come in!! EVEN MY POKEMON!" Mermie closed the window and skulking back to the bathroom and slamed the screen shut. "Little p***k..." She sighed and turned on the water. Lauhtin was just walking around for a whille he didn't want to go back he couldn't belive he liked someone like that. After several minutes Mermie stepped out of the shower, her face set in a frown, her temper still on the lower levels of anger. Placing her knuckles on her sides she cracked them and let out a sigh. So what, if she had a bad sense of humor, she'd been around two elderly peole an pokemon most of her life, sue her. Cracking her knuckles one more time she grabbed her pokeball and headed to the motel's training ground. "Machop, come on out." The blue skined pokemon appeared from its ball and nodded his head, knowing the look on his owners face. "You ready." "Ma." "Go!" And the spar began. Lauthin saw it began to rain he wanted to go back but knew that it might not happen any time soon he would be angry and probably get mad why would she even suggest that he would have sex with her after one small kiss Back and forth back and forth. With each echanged dodge or blow the anger would wax and wane. So engulfed in the dance she didn't even noticed the rain. Lauhting ave a sigh as the rain was getting him drenched he was just sitting down in the streets Time oozed by until Machop grabbed both of his trainers hands and flipped her onto her back, sucessfully knocking her out. The blue skined pokemon lifted her on his shoulders and headed back the to the motel. Lauthin stood up and started to walk around the city again he knew he should go back but was still upset with her and he was now lost and didn't know how to get back "Psy." Walking up to lost teen Mermie's duck pokemon sat down beside him adn nudged him with his head, wanting to be petted. "Psy." Lauthin soon found the hotel and walked in he wated around ten minutes inside until he was dry he was sitting over a heater he walked to the room and went in and gave a sigh as he sat down on the bed seeing her asleep. Psyduck walked over and stared at Lauthin, "Psy-psyduuuck." Lauthin smiled light as he started to pet the Psyduck "hey...i wish i could understand Mermie she is confused she's mad becuase i like her but she thinks that i kissed her that i want to have sex with her and i don't i would wait until she was ready and willing...i know you might not understand but it's nice to have someone to talk to who won't get mad at me" "Psy. Psy!" THe duck got a look on his face and hurridly waddled over to Mermie pack, pulled out a peice of paper and pencil. After a few minutes of skratching on the paper with the pencil he walekd back over and handed to paper to Lauthin. 'M not used to poepl' Lauhtin looked at the note and nodded "well i guess i can't blame her he smiled and walk to her and pulled the blacket a bit more over her "Phyduck i'm going to shower" he got out veporion "here keep each other company" he walked into the washroom and began to take a shower. Psyduck walked over to Veporion andpoked it with its wing, "Psssssyyyyy? Psy psy?" Veporion looked at it a bit confused at first but then walked to the door where Lauthin was knocking it lightly. Lauthin finished his shower "and was dried off he was in boxers and a towel over him lower half and opened the door "right Veporion your not the social type" he miled and put her back in her poke ball and went to phyduck and smiled "should we wake Mermie up so i can say sorry?" The duck pokemon got a look of pure terror and shook his head "Ps!" He grabbed the paper and scratched on it somemore. After several minutes the duck pokemon handed the paper to Lauthin. 'M got mad. M spar with Machop. Machop K.O. M. M mad when woke.' Lauthin gave a small sigh and then walked into the washroom and got dressed he walked out "then what should i do phyduck she's mad because i like her" he looked down and walked to his bed and began to pet psyduck Picking up the paper he scratched a little more. 'M 1 kiss'. Psyduck yawned and strechted out on his stomach. Lauhtin was surprised "that was her first kiss?" he looked down and gave a sigh "i didn't know...no wonder she hates me" "Psyduck." The yellow pokemon nodded and fell asleep. Lauhtin laid down and slowly bagan to fall asleep thinking about all of this he wish he would have know that. Mermie woke up a little before dawn, her back sore from yesterday, "Darn, Machop, couldn't you have put me down softer." Sitting up she groaned under her breath as she stood up. Turning her back until it poped she sighed in relief, then squatted down to get her morning supplies. Lauthin gave a small sigh and didn't know what to do he was just laying down and looked at her and smiled "hey...sorry about everything" he threw the papers that phyduck gave him least night. Mermie ignored the papers and looked over her shoulder at him, "It's fine, my sense of humour isn't the best. Hey, at least now you've been introduced to the calm version of my temper." Lauthin looked down slightly "i didn't know it was your first kiss" he didn't know what to say or do at the moment By the time he spoke the door had shut and she was in the bathroom. Opening the door against she peaked her head out, "Did you say something?" Lauthin gave a small sigh "no...never mind" he waited until she was back in and then wrote everything down on paper like what he was talking about with phyduck and put it on her bed . About ten minutes later Mermie came out with a clean set of teeth and her brown hair in a neat braid; she was dressed in her normal outfit. Lauthin looked at her as nhe was under the covers he gave a sigh as he was still hiding he didn't know what her reaction wold be he wanted to be on good terms with her and hopped she would read the note. Mermie picked up the note on her bed and scanned through it. Quietly she walked over to Luathin and pulled the covers off his head. "Apology accepted. Sorry I don't have the best sense of humour either." She flicked him on the floor head, "Come now get up." Lauthin slowly got up and looked at her and gave a small sigh "i'm still sorry if i would have know it was your first kiss i wouln't have done anything...." he gave a sigh and was almost in tears Mermie shook her head and punched him playfully in the arm, at least it was playful in her mind, "Toughen up you pansy. Aren't guys suposed to stealls girls first kisses and the disapear into the sunset on a Ponyta." Lauthin looked at her slightly confused "where the hell did you get an idea like that?" he gave a sigh and looked down "still...i shouldn't have kissed you unless you were willing" "Oh, I'll live, at least you're not some ugly freak. Now get out of bed, you and your Pokemon are going to get some lessons today from mine." Lauhtin got up and gave a sigh "i can't i have to chalange the gym leader today i can't train and risk them getting hurt" he looked at her and gave a small sigh and wished that he could be nicer to her but he still felt like she hated him. "Suit yourself. But before you even go challenge you need to take a shower." Mermie walked over to the door, "I'll get breakfast out of the kitchen." She was gone. Lauhtin looked at her and smiled he went into the shower and began to think about all of this he knew that he liked her and wondered if he can get phyduck to help him out to see if she likes him or something like that. Mermie walked into the kitched and smiled warmly at the elderly man, "Bueno dias, Sr. Mal. Como estas?" "Ah, bein Mermie. Y tu?" "Asi Asi. Mermie.....comprar dos desayuno." The older man laughed, "You need to work on it a bit more." The gray haired man spoke with a Spanish accent. "I don't get much practice around here. So breakfast is how much?" "It's on the house, caro, I owe your grandfather that much." Mermie blushed and looked down. "None of that. Just sit down and I'll have the senora bring it out." "Mucho gracias." About ten minutes later the dark eyed man walked out with two bowls full of rice and two grilled fish on a plate. A small tea pot was on the tray. "I'm still amazed you and Sakura-baachan got together." The dark brown eyes crinkled with laughter, "So much for you to learn caro. Now go enjoy your desayuno." Mermie, still red gentled took the trey and headed back to her room."Chao!!" Lauthin got out of the shower and saw that Mermie was still gone and gave a small sigh and then got dressed and sat down on the bed a little worried about if she was alright and all of that he didn't want to focus on it to much but knew that it would be best to wait. Mermie held the trey up a little high and lifted up one foot, sliding the door open with the free one. "Back. Hope you like rice and fish." Lauhtin looked at her and smiled "y-yes thank you very much" he was still lightly blushin and then looked down and gave a sigh "I'm not gonna kill you I"m calm now. OKay," Lauhtin gave a small sigh "i know but it still bothers me that is the main thing" he looked at her "i just don't know what to do or say" Mermie sat the tray down on Lauthin's bed and sat on the foot of it. "Eat. Well what's something I don't know about you that you think I should?"
Lauthin looked at her and gave a sigh "maybe the fact that i don't have parents...well i have adoped parents but it's not the same" he didn't know what to say he was hungry but didn't want to eat
