A soft breeze swept the leaves and branches of the orchard, nearby a cottage. The sunset in its full glory could be visible;thus, making it a grand view for the young man that rested beneath the orchard. He had been there in the same place for two consecutive days. Doing what? people wondered. Waiting for something perhaps? A little girl of what looked like 4 years old neared the man under the orchard, her skyblue dress and brown hair flowing with the breeze. She was picking up the small white flowers which covered the grass all around for miles. She approached the man who had his eyes closed.
Upon opening them, he saw her extending a small white flower to him. "It's pretty isnt it?" She asked this with a childs smile and happiness, that which all childs have.
The man looked at her and faintly smiled as he took the small flower that the girl offered him. She looked at him, bewildered. His face was brightened with the tangy colors that sunset brought and when he smiled his eyes smiled as well. The girl looked at him as you would look at an imense treasure. She reached her small arm to his face, and touched his cheek.
"Misa," came a voice, "Misa, dinner is ready!" The girl, having heard her name, gave a few steps towards the cottage. She looked back at him, smiled, and ran home.
"Where have you been," asked the young woman who had called the girl, Misa, earlier. "Picking flowers, see," she showed her the small flowers she had gathered, "and then there was a man, I gave him a flower and he smiled! His face was pretty, Julia!" The man under the orchard saw as Misa entered the cottage and he saw the young woman look in his direction for a brief moment before following up the girl.
"Julia."
