When I turned 11 I found something weird about me. I was much stronger than all the other children. I would swing on bars and practically break them. My mother got scared and wouldn’t send me back to school. She was afraid I would hurt someone. So I stayed in my room for about a month with lunch and all meals in my own house. I was very lonely and not smart at all considering I’ve been home for about 2 months with no education. You may think I was lucky not to have to go to school, but I felt very sad. Then on my 12th birthday I wasn’t getting my crown fast enough so I through out my hand and the crown carrier fell and had to re-polish the crowns. I felt very bad because I didn’t know what had happened… Soon after my mother got a man to tutor me with my “powers” as she called them. I never thought of “super strength”, and being able to knock a servant over would be super powers. But I agreed that I would let him teach me. The first day he came and introduced himself. His name was Sir Lillian Fault Servant of Queen Fault John Smith Floranda James. But He told me to call him Mr. James. Easy enough right? Well not quite. A week later he told me he was going to drain my powers so I could learn to use them properly. I looked at him with an odd expression. I held out my hands. He placed his palms over mine and told me,
“This will hurt my lad.” I smiled because I have never felt pain. All of a sudden a rush sensation that felt so great but so bad went through my hands. I screamed, though I don’t know why. After a series of minutes his hands came off of mine and he told me,
“Your powers are to strong for me, but to hard for you to handle. Our lessons must go fast or I shall die because I am drained every second because I can not with hold these for to long.”
I stared at him.
“Why shall I not be able to handle these? I have for at least 12 years.” He frowned.
“You are much too young and unwise to know how to use them. You will be hunted down someday and If I don’t help you, you will die and some other person will take you’re throne.
I scowled.
“You liar! I will not die. For I am not aloud off these grounds!”
He stared into my green eyes.
“I do not lie. You will see someday.”
That evening I felt so very weak and went to sleep right as I touched my bed. I didn’t have a dream just a blank screen.
In the morning Mr. James looked very weak and explained to me we must hurry with our lessons. He taught me how to hold my hands out to make my self invisible. Then how to hold them out to drain little power. Also to put and move objects. After that the last thing he taught me was to use my strength. All he told me was to be very careful. For some day the child sorcerer will find me and hunt me down. I didn’t winch for I thought the sorcerer was dead along with his son.
