Dear Reader,
Well this is interesting. An earthquake happened. It seems that if anything was near the fissure was obliterated. It was pretty scary.
Here’s what happened.
I heard a pretty loud crash but thought nothing of it. Noises like that usually happen in this forest. I continued on. I heard thumping and crashing coming from behind me. I hid in a bush like I usually did. I saw them. There were thousands of them.
I thought the carnivores were after me but it seems that I was wrong. Peter and the white ball thing wanted to go but didn’t want to leave me behind. I didn’t understand what was going on but I followed them. After what seemed like an hour (I don’t really know, I have lost all track of time now), we stopped. The two little ones seemed exhausted I decided to take a break. They seemed to want to keep going but I knew that they couldn’t very easily.
I had them both in my arms, trying to calm them before they got hurt. It seemed to work until I felt the ground move underneath my feet. I looked around to see if any of the big animals were coming. There wasn’t. Peter was trying to fly to the way we were heading before. He nearly fell from exhaustion. I held him close as I decided to run in the way he was trying to.
The white ball thing fell asleep in one of my pouches. I placed Peter in the other pocket. He fell right to sleep. I had a third pocket that held the seed of one of the blue strawberry fruit trees. I ran with all the power I could muster. I ran for as long as I could which, to my surprise, was a long time. By the time I stopped we were at a top of a large hill or a small mountain. I looked behind me.
There was a large hole of where the forest once was. It was a bit unnerving. It was being filled up by water. I thought on how lucky we were. If it wasn’t for those two acting strange and me rusting them we would all be dead at this point.
Any trees, huts, shrubs, animals, birds, anything was gone. I decided to turn around and face the other way.
It wasn’t as bad as what was behind me. Well I wouldn’t say it’s paradise like what that place used to be but it was better than what it was now. If that made any sense please explain.
There were no mountains. There was a forest surrounding the forest. Odd. Hills surround the now huge lake. It looks like a huge bowl. If it was filled with cereal and milk I’d eat it… That was a bad joke.
Beyond the second forest was a beach. Beyond that was a vast sea. I was looking north. I then checked east, south and west. It was the same on all sides.
I noticed that the forest wasn’t that big. Neither was the beach. I guess that I was on an island and the bowl was the biggest part of it. Now that I look at it… well… The bowl itself isn’t that big if I can see the other side. It’s a bit sad. To think I thought that this was huge. Oh well.
My next priority is to find a civilization somewhere. Hopefully.
If this is a deserted island, I’m not going to be that happy.
At least I’m out of the forest.
I think I need to restate my priority. First I need to get down the other side of this mountain… or hill… which ever it is, alive. The reason it’s so important because I am now currently on the edge of the cliff. A steep, sheer cliff. One that could probably end my life if I’m not careful.
Well wish me luck… I think I might need it.
