Dear Reader,
Well this sucks… I’m stuck out in the middle of no where again…
No that’s a lie. I’m actually hiding out in two huge bushes. I can’t go too far or I might get caught.
I guess I should really explain myself. Here’s how it went.
Like I said before I had this sneaking suspicion that something bad was going to happen to me. So the next morning I looked out my window. There was a huge statue of me standing in the middle of the square. It was made out of straw and wood. It was a pretty good representation but I wondered why it was built out of burnable materials.
It took me a good couple of minutes to figure out why. When I figured it out I ran to grab everything that I owned. I was able to get Peter, Mark, my clothes, and the armor that they gave me. By the time I finished the village leader entered. He ordered others to take me to the square. I couldn’t go anywhere, they had me captive. I followed them, or more like escorted to it.
They stood me in front of the statue. I was getting more afraid. I tried to shoo Peter and Mark away but they didn’t listen.
They started chanting something. I had a feeling that it was to me. I never really liked the idea of worship. It has always bothered me. If any greater power truly existed then why is there so much suffering in the world? I don’t quite understand.
In any case I was in trouble and needed a way out. I looked around, trying not to arouse any suspicion. I saw a few ways but I’d have to fight my way. They started putting dried grass, branches, leaves, and other burnable things around me. I needed to act and fast.
I knocked over one of the men that were trying to add more to the burn pile. They all stood in shock but I didn’t. I hurried my way out of there. By the time they reacted I was long gone from their village. If they tried to find me they’d have a lot of catching up to do. In any case I was gone.
After a few minutes of running the forest became increasingly dense. I could barely make it. I had cuts and bruises from the branches slapping me as I passed. I saw two big bushes that touched each other. I should rephrase myself they were not big bushes, they were huge bushes. Nearly big enough that I can stand in and have still room for my head. Also long enough that I can stretch out in and still have room. It’s a nice bush or bushes, what ever it is.
They tried finding me but haven’t been successful yet. Thank goodness. They find me and the next time they will have a barbeque. I just have to lay low for awhile. Hope I can last. Well I guess till next time.
