Insomnia - is the inability to obtain an adequate amount or quality of sleep. The difficulty can be in falling asleep, remaining asleep, or both. People with insomnia do not feel refreshed when they wake up. Insomnia is a common symptom affecting millions of people that may be caused by many conditions, diseases, or circumstances. I have never really paid much attention to my sleeping habits until recently. I have a difficult time in trying to fall asleep. There have been times that I have gone to bed early and spent 4 hours awake in bed with my eyes close trying to sleep. And during those times I get frustrated in still being awake. It's enough to seriously just give up in just laying there waiting for sleep to come. So what I do is basically just stay up on the computer reading stories and doing things to keep me bust. At least, I figure I might as well do something productive and just hope that it gets me tired enough to fall asleep easily. And it seems to work but that in it self is also annoying because I have to sleep in to get a full amount of sleep. I usually wake up at 3 pm, sometimes at 1 pm. There have been rare times that I woke up earlier then that but I only do so when I have something plan at that time and even then I'm tired. Most would say to just take the sleep drugs but I don't because those things aren't natural. I don't want them to screw my sleeping habit more then it already is. I've tried to tell my parents (my mother actually) about this but of course she doesn't give a damn. So it's no wonder I always ignore her when she tells me to go to bed early. Really, like going to bed early will actually make me be able to fall asleep quicker. I hate this...
