Chapter 3 Part 1 Meeting
After getting back from the desert lands of the Aztec Kingdom, news was soon being spread of Riavcae. I continued my work normally, but at night I as NoT began rumors of the next target being 'Chompers'. Soon even Navimle began to worry and decide to take a trip to Europe.
Before we left I decide to make a stop the day before.
I went to the special protected area where families and friends of the Government members were protected from what Navimle referred to as commoners.
I had my own few areas some of mostly for friends and a small area for my family.
Both of my parent died right about the time the new medicine was up and running.
I had one sibling; she wasn't too happy with my choice in life as Navimle's right hand man
Last time I saw her she threw every piece of silverware in her drawers and the kitchen table at me when I was going to give her my birthday gift to her.
I decided to avoid her today.
My main objective was to meet her, the women who once loved me.
Kumeinachi Kushishu
or as her friends called her as well as I did
Hikari.
She was born a bit strange having white hair at birth. People made fun of her for it, but she was extremely kind at heart.
I didn't see her since I became a part of Navimle's team and have her move here.
I walked a few feet before I was soon in front of her house.
The house was a typical two-story house with a giant tree in the yard.
As I enter the gate I heard a voice say, "Nii-san."
A little girl with hair as yellow of the sun came up to me and hugged my waist.
"It is good to see you too, Shun." I said.
"How are you, Nii-san? Ahh, Nee-chan, Nii-san's here."
Soon as she finish talking a girl with wild dark hair came out of the house.
“Hi Kounyia, how is your other sister?” I said to her.
“Eh, you know, working hard on chores, home schooling both of us and hating you every now and then.”
My head sort of drooped at that last one, but it made Shun laugh.
Shun, Kounyia, and Hikari weren’t related by blood, but they considered each other a sister and Hikari made it so they would live together to keep them safe.
On that same note, Shun sees me as an older brother figure as well as seeing Kounyia and Hikari as older sisters.
“Anyway, I came to visit for two reasons.” I said, “One was to give Shun her birthday gift.”
I popped out a handmade doll I made during my spare time.
“Ahh, she looks great, Nii-san. Thanks” She gave me a big smile.
“Your welcome, Happy Birthday.” I padded her little head. “Now, I got to see your other Nee-san, could you get her?”
“Yes, I will.” She turned around and went into the house.
“So do you think she’ll do what my actual sister did?” I asked Kounyia.
“Nah, I think she’ll let you talk, then start throwing the kitchen sink and bathtub after that.”
“Great.” I said while I rolled my eyes.
Then, Shun brought her out, Hikari.
She looked wonderful wearing a long white dress that matched her long white hair. She looked very beautiful.
“Hi, Hikari.” I said a bit nervously.
“Hello to you as well.” She replied.
“It’s good to see you again how are you?”
“Oh I am doing fine, just great.”
She sounds really stressed out today.
“Maybe we should talk alone?” I said as I looked at Shun and Kounyia.
“Fine, you two go finish the laundry for me please.”
They nodded and close the door behind them.
“Why are you here?” She asked.
“Well, to apologize for not seeing you for about a decade, to see if you are still good and healthy, and to ask if you’ll ever forgive me.”
“Humph,” She replied crossing her arms, “Well, thanks for checking up, but I don’t think I can forgive you unless you left Navimle.”
“I can’t if I do then you won’t be guarantee safe.”
“Who said I wanted protection?”
“When you took in Kounyia and Shun.”
“I…fine you have a point there.”
“Now I just wanted you all safe. Anyway, you might not see me for a while, I have a job to do to keep you safe and so if I don’t come back I want to know if you’ll accept me.”
“If you leave Navimle, I might.”
“Hmm, I’ll keep that in mine.” I walked up to her. “You’ll still the beautiful girl I met over a century ago.” I put my hand on her face. She held my hand. We slowly moved in for a kiss.
Then the door fell open behind Hikari and Kounyia and Shun tumbled out.
“Were you spying on us?” Said Hikari.
“Yes, said Shun innocently with big eyes that look like she was about to cry and you just couldn't be angry at her.
“Fine,” Hikari pointed at Kounyia. “You have extra homework tonight.”
“What? But she was listening too.” She pointed to Shun.
“Yes but based on what I see in there,” She pointed to the laundry, “It looks like Shun finish her laundry before joining you.”
“Ack, fine.” Kounyia said.
I laughed a little bit, but manage to get myself back together.
“Well, I hope you all have a great year, I’ll see you around Christmas, maybe.
“Nii-san, don’t leave.” said Shun
“Don’t worry, just remember to be a good girl for both of your Nee-chans.
“I will.” She hugged me tight then went back to Hikari.
“Bye.” I said as I waved.
“Bye.” All three said as they waved.
I knew now what I needed to focus my attention too. I had to protect them, as they trusted me.
I must defeat all the remaining Tyrants and stop Navimle.
I went straight to the airport ready to get into action.
We flew away from the setting sun and towards the rising moon onward to my fate.
