Chapter 3 Part 3 Reunion
Fighting the one who taught me how to fight. This has got to be someone’s trick. Well, might as well I did promise him a fight. I remember the last time we saw each other in school.
We were graduating from High School, Govind, Hikari, and I; the school bullies were going to try one last trick on us. They surrounded us and had knifes, pipes, whole bunch of things. We told Hikari to get to school and save us seats at class. Two of them charged at her as se was leaving, but Govind and me tossed them out of the way without trying too much.
After Hikari was out of sight I asked Govind.
“So after this do you want me to fight you?”
“No, today is not the day, we’ll fight when the time comes. You need to train and one day after you master it yourself, we’ll fight.”
Then one of them said “Enough talk, you idiots, it is time to silence you once and for al-.” Govind punched and I kicked his lights out.
“So which one do you want?” I asked.
“The ugly one.” He said.
“You’re going to have to be more specific.” I replied.
We laugh as they came charging us.
After that we went our separate ways, he went into politics and fighting said something about following in his father’s footsteps. Hikari and I went onto college and got jobs and live together for a while. By then the medicine was created and Navimle came to power.
I then separated from Hikari and began my plans and in about half a century start to put them in motion but it took another half to be trusted. Much work happened and I manage to put Hikari and her newly adopted sisters and a few others in the safe area, but they never looked at me the same except for Hikari and her sisters.
Now I found my other friend and we must fight. Enough about the past right now, it’s time to face the future.
Another voice in the dark surroundings called out and said, “Prepare yourselves, ready in 3…2…1…FIGHT!”
I charged at Govind while he remained still waiting for me we than exchanged blows, meeting each one equally then an opening appeared and I send him a few feet.
“Nice move there, Nobody.” He said out of respect. “But now, can you fight what you can’t see.” He then moved from one side to the other. I felt that punch a second after that.
He fired a few more punches while I remembered what he told me about fighting where I can’t see.
“You see,” he said, while laughing a bit, “You need to focus on what you can’t see feel the vibrations in the ground, the movement of the air, the feeling of what surrounds you and when everything is felt, you’ll find your opponent.” Govind told me.
“I had no idea what you’ve just said, but I’ll try my best.” I replied.
He scowled then sigh and said, “We’ve got a long way to go.”
Now to show him how much I changed since about a century ago.
I closed my eyes, let out a breath of air and felt the grounds vibrate under me like a pulse then listen to where voices were coming from till finally I could sense everyone in the room. There were at least 12 people in the surrounding area including Yuuki and Govind.
Then I sense the movement of Govind.
I ducked to avoid the hit.
“What the…” said Govind.
Then I kicked him to the ground.
“Nice kick, but it isn’t over.”
“Yes, it is.” I said and I struck him the neck gently.
“You call THAT a move, I’ll show you a mo- What the?” He tried to move, but was stuck.
I heard movement in the darkness and then the announcer said, “Th-The winner is the NOBODY OF TWILIGHT.” Only Yuuki cheered for me. Then she came over and placed her hands on Govind then me. I felt like I just slept for 5 nights and was fully charged.
“That was a good match, Nobody.” He brought out his hands and we shock.
“Looks like I don’t need to pay you back.”
“Hmm?” He looked at me with a confuse face.
Then one of the others said, “Very well, Nobody, you are welcome into are group.”
Another voice said, “We are the Rebels.”
Many other voices then began to talk one after another.
“The ones who rebel against the Robos.”
“The ones who tear down the factories that enslave us.”
“The ones who will charge at the Upper Class.”
“The ones to take the Capital.”
“The ones to take out, King-“
“THAT’S ENOUGH!!!” shouted Govind. “Anyway, I am the leader, Govind and this is my friend/assistant, Yuuki, or Yuuki-chan.”
“Don’t call me that please.” Said Yuuki as she blushed a bit.
“What’s wrong with Yuuki-chan, it is cute for you.” I said. She turned more red and covered a part of her face.
“Anyway,” said Govind, “I need to discuss my plans with you privately. This way to my chambers, please.” He pointed towards a small area of buildings.
We walked towards it, he let me in first, then told Yuuki-chan to wait outside.
He closed the flap and started a fire in between us.
“So, it’s you, isn’t it?” said Govind.
“Heh, nothing could get by you, old friend.”
So once again, I broke my code and showed my face to a friend.
“So have been doing good, Govind?”
“Yeah, got my degrees and a master in fighting.”
“Looks like I don’t have to pay for the lessons you gave me.”
“Yep, knew you would, there was something in you, but swords?”
“Just in case, I use it as an extension of myself, but you aren’t angry with my choice?”
“Nah, I knew you had reasons, we’re friend and we trust that there is a reason behind our actions.”
“Thanks, so how’d you meet Yuuki?”
“That you should ask her yourself.” He looked away with a bit of an angry look on his face.
“Um…”
“Oh sorry, so what are you up to yoursel-”
All of a sudden the ground began shaking.
“EARTHQUAKE!!!” Someone shout outside.
I duck my head, but Govind stood up and said, “Get your mask on, this is not a normal earthquake.”
I did and we walked outside to see hundreds of Robo-Guards charging into the area.
“Well, you better be ready to show off these new moves to me, Nobody.”
“Yeah, well, I wonder how you are doing after a century as well.”
We both smiled at each other and Yuuki stood behind us and said, “Don’t forget me.”
“Yeah, we won’t, Yuuki-chan.” Said Govind. Yuuki turn a bit red again. “Okay, CHARGE!!!” He yelled.
We were out numbered and outmatch, but I knew that no even so Govind had my back as I had his for what was about to happen.
