CANADA!!

Now that I think of it...
It's pretty weird having another country above you...lolol
Oh...and here's another thing.
How come in aaaaall my years in school we haven't once learned any Canadian history?
We learn about Europe throughout the ages...
Asia...
Africa...
Central and South American societies...
Then we learn about exploration and the formation of the United States...
How come we have never learned about how Canada came to be?
Seriously!
I mean here and there Canada is mentioned like "The British troops attacked from Canada...." (just an example idk what happened there but I know some group like hid like on the border of Canada in the Revolutionary war or something XDD)
But never once have I heard how it came to be a country!!
What we don't care about how our northern neighbor got there!?
My ignorance of Canada astounds me.
I mean I know provinces and towns and stuff but don't know any history really.
I believe I learned some in FRENCH class.
Not history...-.-""
I'm gonna go to Canada in a couple years so...maybe I'll learn something. *shrug*
