THE VAMPIRE
Usually a vampire is depicted as an evil spirit that hungers for the blood of the living or something close to Vlad Dracula. What links all vampires? Their need/want of blood, living or not. That is true for this one. My view of a real life vampire is something that needs to be described. A real vampire obviously can walk in the daylight because, well, you never know if someone's a vampire simply by looks or not! I do know that vampires are very pale. Because of the blood loss to become one, or because they are truly living corpses. To become a vampire, you must be drained of almost all of the blood from your body. When your body doesn't accept blood the traditional way (by IV's and transplants) your body needs to find annother way to get the blood into your body (which is by the mouth). It's false that true vampires have enlarged or retractable canines (fangs as they're normally called). The person who had suffered the blood loss then needs more blood to try to save them from the clutches of death. This is why the victom of blood loss (or the newborn vampire) searches for blood to keep them alive. They may try to catch animals to obtain blood, but it may not agree with their blood type and they may become even more sickly than they already were. The newborn may go to a cemetary to try to get blood from the freshly burried bodies (now adays that's hard to do because mortuaries usually drain the blood from the bodies before they burry them). The person is running out of options and if he doesn't get blood soon he may be knocking on death's door at any minute. True vampires can die just like anyone else on the planet. They have extended lifespans because they drink the blood to keep them going. They need sleep (even if it's durring the day or the night),they can't eat food because they'll get sick and throw it up, they can have children (they are not stuck at that age. The blood only lengthens the life of that individual but they will die and their bodies change over time, only slower than a normal human), and the read eyes are just a myth.
And that is the true vampire.
