Hope is such a risky thing. We can just stare at it, and let it fade away, allow the opportunity to slip us by... Or we can take advantage, and plunge straight forward, latch onto that golden strand of hope, and see if it goes all the way up. By doing this, we risk all the mental and emotional stability we have established in ourselves. We risk our very sanity by taking this risk, by taking this hope. For if this rope just turns out to drop you lower, you may just loose it. Some people grab onto the right rope, some don't, some fall deeper into the pits of despair by grabbing onto the hope that was not true, a lie. And some people, don't even hope at all. They just watch, as I did. Now I have an opportunity, an opportunity to have the adventure I prayed for. And now as I look back I realize, I've had this adventure for a while now. It's all just an amazing game, a sick terrible game perhaps filled with evil and dark and hate, but an amazing, wondrous game none the less. Now is the chance to have that story I wanted, to help continue the stories of others, and to live, for once. I believe that this adventure will be a grand one, filled with laughs, and smiles. Even though I may fall, I may just loose my mind, if I haven't already, I will enjoy myself the entire time. For they say an opportunity like this, only happens once in a life time, and when you've lost everything and broken, you just smile through the hate and sadness and say, "Let's see what more we can do?" Adventure is all around us, all one needs to do is step into the new world of your story that is to start, and press play.
