~*~ A country boy fires a rifle for many years...
He uses the lethal weapon: to hunt, to protect his family, and to keep livestock safe...
Soon however, the boy is a man; a man with much knowledge, power, and bravery. He chooses to join the army. Such an honorary commitment deserves overwhelming gratitude. A decision made by just one more man and his gun that can determine the very fate of our country.
His life hangs in the balance between two brightly colored flags who are battling for freedom. But soon enough..the war is over, and America has won yet again. Afterward, the now battered, bruised, and beaten man returns his gun to the armory. He believes that he is finished with the deadly weapon that was used to kill so many souls on the open battle field.
But no matter what else he may do with his hands: Love a woman, build a house, or change his son's diaper...
His hands will always remember the rifle...
