Fours years have passed since, the great war that overthrow the fire lord. He was tossed into prison and his crazy daughter missing in action. This left Zuko to take over the fire kingdom. With the Avatar's business done, Aang left to explore the world. While Katara decided to stay with her beloved and help him get the Fire Nation back in order. Time passed and peace has finally being achieved between the four nations and it seemed that the Avatar was no longer needed.
Two years passed since peace has been achieved. But something was wrong. Benders in the four kingdoms started going missing or perishing. The results remain unknown, even who was behind it all remained a mystery. Zuko now in charge of the fire nation with his girlfriend Katara, decided to investigate it. They summoned the council and start to put into a place a plan to figure out the source. They met for many days, but couldn't come up with anything. So it left Zuko and Katara in a state of slump.
However one day, a few months after the council's last meeting, someone reported to Zuko about seeing a mysterious person, that could control shadows. Zuko unsure about it, started to research on it. He came up with nothing, but it seems that a new nation was on the horizon. This nation was made up of people who firmly controlled the shadows at their will. Giving them the name of Shadow Benders. This nation wants to overthrow the entire four nations and come out as the supreme ruler of the world.
With people missing and disappearing, it seems that the help of the Avatar will be needed again. But Aang hasn't been seen in six years since he left. So both Katara and Zuko gather up old teammates and new teammates to embark on a new quest. But to make matters worse, was that it seemed that the Fire lord has escaped his prison and that Azula has been spotted again. A new nation and a new goal. But it seems the Avatar is needed once more to put a stop to the rise of the Shadow Nation. Much like he did, all those years ago when the Great War was occurring.
