They are right when they say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder but sometimes what is universal beautiful, clouds everyone’s eyes of the beauty that is only seen in the dark. Many find it creepy, disturbing or just plan weird but for some it’s not hideous, it’s beautiful in itself as well.
It’s like a dried up rose….everyone thinks it’s ugly, that it doesn’t belong anymore among the blooming roses. But it’s still beautiful because it’s perserved and still has that lovely lingering scent. It’s beautiful, it stands out and hasn’t fallen apart.
Just as it is beautiful to see callus on hands, because it’s tells us an important aspect of a person. They work hard and aren’t afraid of getting their hands dirty, especially if it’s something they are passionate about like playing an instrument, sculpturing, carpentering and so on.
There’s pretty much beauty in everything around just, we just have to keep an open mind and really look for it.
