Aw, crap. I’m falling behind and I might have to make it a habit of waking up 12 at night and write at least 500 words or 1,000 (because every little amount adds up/counts). Then I would go back to sleep and do what I usually do once I wake up in the morning (while trying to find some time to write whenever I can) and in the afternoon I will sit down and work on getting 1,667 words. Remember, it is recommended by those that host NaNoWriMo to write 1,667 words each day because by the end of the month they would have 50,000 words (or over it), which is the goal.
Being that I started a goal of getting at least 2,000 words each day, it has help prevent me from falling behind. But the pass few days I’ve been busy and sadly neglecting my novel (and it’s not like I’m purposely doing it. There are things that keep getting in my way).
So in the end, I should be catching up and all the while I’ll be pulling out those writer’s tips. Such as adding in filter scenes, adding on to scenes already written up, and write whenever I can. Even be more descriptive in my writing then I was before, so much that it paints a crystal clear picture for my readers.
The only thing I worry about is being able to stick to this and not fall further behind. After all, a person start strong but starts to lose their willpower/strength and so on. Wish me luck!
