I was fine with the ads when they appeared on certain channels but then they started appearing everywhere and it’s annoying. It sucks that only a few of those ads contain the option of skipping but majority of them don’t. So you have to suck it up and sit through them in order to watch what you want to watch. I’m just tired of ads appearing everywhere…first it was on papers, then radios, then television, billboards, internet, and other weird places. I have a feeling that those ads on Youtube will get longer and longer over time. I can sense it!
Companies of ads are always trying to find new ways to get people’s attention. Seriously. The internet was quite before they introduced talking ads and then the pop-out ads.
Another thing that has been bugging me lately is a notice that appears underneath the video you’re watching that says, “Upgrade to Adobe Flash Player 10 for improved playback performance. Upgrade Now or More Info.” The things is, I already upgraded my Adobe and I can still watch some videos but after watching a few of them, that notice appears and when I want to watch the next video it doesn’t show. I want to know why videos aren’t playing even though I’m already upgraded.
I tried to look for answers but I don’t see that many experiencing that. I’ve come across some that are having the same problem but they too haven’t figure out how to solve it either. So far the only thing that has been managing to work for me, whenever I have a difficult time playing a video, is to refresh it a couple of times. Sometimes if that doesn’t work I wait for the next day to watch it and the video plays perfectly.
It’s a frustrating problem so Youtube, get your act together.
